CUTI's (cuti.my) is served as gateway for travel suppliers toward E-Commerce for online air ticket, tour, hotel and Malaysia travel information. CUTI is platform which gathering travel agencies products and visitor purchasing power, addition by the value-added service that will benefit both travel suppliers and consumer, therefore, a travel online community come to life, a community that is offer win-win solution to both travel suppliers and consumer.

I have problems in browsing CUTI website. How?
There are a few reasons that might effect your browsing experience within CUTI:

i. Screen Resolution
CUTI website are designed and has the best view under the resolution of 1024 X 768. Minimum resolution to surf CUTI is 800 X 600.
ii. Internet Browser
CUTI has gone through serious test under Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x, 6 and Netscape Navigator 4.0, 4.5, 4.6, 6. Other browsers or versions of browser might face problem due to its incompatibility of advance scripting usage within CUTI.
iii. Cookie problem
Cookies are a general mechanism which server side connections (such as CGI scripts) can use to both store and retrieve information on the client side of the connection. CUTI use cookie extensively throughout the site, therefore, disable the cookie will effect the navigation within CUTI, both enabling and disabling can be set in browser setting.
For IE 6 users, follow the steps below to enable your cookie:

  1. Click Tools menu on IE windows
  2. Click Internet Options ...
  3. Clicking Privacy tab
  4. The Privacy settings slider has six settings: Block All Cookies , High , Medium High , Medium (default level), Low , and Accept All Cookies. Try NOT TO Block All Cookies and REFRESH CUTI logon page, if the warning message has been replaced by a greeting message, it means you can logon now.

Does CUTI provide telephone support?
Yes. Please call + 603-3343 CUTI (i.e. 3343 2884, the last four keys contains characters that form "CUTI").

What does "Pax" or "Paxs" mean?
"Pax" means "Passenger" or "Person", a Passenger can be an adult, child (2-12 years old) or infant (below 2 years old).

Definition of Hotel & Tour Package in CUTI?
In CUTI website, prices for hotel reservation is based on Per-Room-Per-Night, while prices of tour package is quoted for the whole tour (e.g. 3D2N Langkawi Free & EZ) Per-Pax. GIT is a group tour package which required a certain number of mininum passengers (normally 4 - 10 paxs).

Definition of "Single", "Twin", "Double", "Triple" and "Quad" ?
These terms usually used for hotel room reservation.
Single : 1 single bed in a room (max 1 pax only)
Twin : 2 single beds in a room (max 2 paxs only)
Double : 1 double bed in a room (max 2 paxs only)
Triple : combinations of above (max 3 paxs only)
Quad : combinations of above (max 4 paxs only)
Standard room : either Twin or Double (max 2 paxs only)

Definition of "YSGV3" and "Group ticket" ?
These terms usually used for air ticket reservation. These tickets are always cheaper than normal ticket.
YSGV3 : min 3 paxs
Group : enquire upon 10 paxs or more

Why CUTI does not list out hotel contact number ?
CUTI used to list out all information of the hotel but some CUTIzens and website visitors try to call to hotel reservation and want to do booking with the room rate offered by CUTI website (you should know that hotel front office always charge their guest at walk-in rate, which is higher unless there is any promotion which CUTI is not notified), and this will cause a lot of unnecessary communication task between CUTI support team and the hotel front office to accommodate the guest. We only show the contact number in the voucher for those who made reservation through CUTI.

Does CUTI offer any discount ?
Although CUTI's profit margin is much more lower than what you can imagine, we do provide some benefits to our customers:
  1. CUTI point (Credit point or CP) - CP will be added to CUTIzens account after certain number of transactions so that we can easily identify our loyal customers and allow them to redeem their CP as a discount.
  2. GTO (Group Tri Organiser) - If you have a group of 10 adults or more (2 children are treated as 1 adult), CUTI will offer a GTO discount for you or your whole group.
You will never have this preferential treatment from other parties, lower or lowest rate with further discount, so why wait?>

Does CUTI.my provide member card ?
No, CUTI.my only accept FREE member (CUTIzen) registration online through this website.

I have a "Cuti-Cuti Malaysia" member card and I think I have been cheated. Could you please help me in this?
CUTI.my is a brand name of NB Travel Sdn Bhd (649499-D)(KKKP4171). Since the beginning of our operation we have never issued any member card using the logo "Cuti-Cuti Malaysia". Our mission is to promote "Cuti-Cuti Malaysia" campaign online and to the whole world.
"Cuti-Cuti Malaysia" is a slogan for domestic tourism campaign that have been widely used among all Malaysian travel agents to promote Malaysia destinations. Some are not licenced travel agent, and we do believe that some of them are running improper business model to attract public to join as their member. How is the process? From reservation to fulfillment.
Here is how you can make online reservation in CUTI:
1. Select the travel product you interested.
2. You will be confirmed by CUTI support team for your reservation within 48 hrs through phone, email or fax.
3. After payment is clear, you will be notify again through email, usually within 3 working days.
4. Fulfillment (delivery) take place if neccessary (free of charge).

How can I confirm my reservation?
You will be contacted by CUTI support team within 48 hrs for your confirmation.

How can I cancel my reservation prior payment?
You can cancel the reservation in our order tracking system for CUTIzen.

Can I make reservation through telephone?

My ideal tour/hotel is not inside CUTI. How?
You may contact us for any travel products that are not offering in CUTI at the moment, we will serve your requirement through our linkage to variety of travel suppliers.

Why is there a surcharge? When is the peak season?
Surcharge will only be imposed during the peak season that designated by each travel suppliers. Normally public holidays, school holidays and weekends, to some crowded destinations, are defined as their peak seasons.
Some travel suppliers apply multi-level of surcharge based on their super-peak or low-peak season. To avoid peak season surcharge, try to travel during the low season, normally you can get the lowest rate in a weekdays tour or accommodation.

When and How do I make payment?
After CUTI support team confirm the availability of the travel products. Full payment is needed to proceed for the reservation, delay in payment may lead to cancellation of the reservation.

What is the refund policy for CUTIzen?
The refund policy is vary among different travel suppliers and the travel products itself. However CUTI always places your benefit at highest priority.

Credit Point FAQ (Frequent Asked Questions)
What is CP ?
CUTI Credit Point or CP is a reward for our loyal CUTIzen and those who love to use CUTI reservation services since November 2000. CP can be used in the redemption corner to redemption for various travel products specially selected for CUTIzen.
How to check my current CP value?
If you are a CUTIzen (CUTI registered member), then you can check your available CP at <User Profile> after logon to CUTI website. If you haven't registered as a CUTIzen yet but you are already our customer, please register as a member and identify yourself so that we can transfer your CP from our reservation system into your personal account.
How to redeem CP?
Please refer to Redemption Corner.
How CUTI evaluates CP for each CUTIzen?
CP is generated by CUTI reservation system automatically whenever there is any booking request from CUTIzen or even Non-CUTIzen. The value of CP is 30% from the transaction value (excluding peak-season surcharge, transportation/transfer fee, other additional charges such as meals). Once the reservation is confirmed and full payment is made, then CP will automatically transfer into your account.
I have organized a trip for my company but I found out that the CP is belonging to our company, ...
CP will be awarded to CUTIzen, therefore, as the Group Trip Organizer (GTO) for your company, you are able to advice us your preferred option on crediting the CP.
Q6: Why CUTI doesn’t just gives a discount straight away instead of using this stupid CP scheme?
A6: CP scheme is a reward plan for loyal CUTIzen. Every times you book through our system, the system will recognize you as our customer and add CP to your account. The more passengers in your group, the more CP you will gain. The more reservation you have made, the higher CP calculation rate will be added.
Q7: I don't want my name or username to be listed on TOP20 CP lists.
Please send an email to support@cuti.my from your email address that you used in CUTIzen registration. We will try to modify your name by adding XXXX or replace your name with another CUTIzen.
Why my CP does not up to date?
CP will be updated once on 15th every month. Please contact support@cuti.my if you need to find out your latest CP.
