Raohe Street Night Market - One of the oldest night markets in Taipei, the Raohe Street Night Market is a must visit destination. The epitome of a traditional Taiwanese night market, this 600 metre path along Raohe Street in Songshan District is packed with dun and interesting night foods and snacks, quaint shops and stalls and carnival games with prizes.
Taipei 101 Shopping Mall - Taipei 101 is the tallest building in the world, with a mega five-story shopping mall and occupying seven floors of the Financial Centre is the Taiwan stock exchange. You can also take the quick lift to 89th floor observatory (by own expenses).
Chiufen - A place where you get a chance to taste the local snacks and foods of Taiwan such as Taro and Sweet Potato Ball etc.
Shihfen Old Street - Although the Shihfen Old Street does not necessarily attract tourists due to its traditional architecture, it does boast the unique attribute of serving as the only old street in Taiwan, which trains pass through on a daily basis. As they happily enjoy delicious home-cooked noodles, visitors can enjoy the sight of trains passing along the unfenced railway gates.NANTOU
Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area - Divided by Lalu Island, the Sun Moon Lake scenic area got its name from the unique terrains that look like sun on one side and cresent moon on the other. Crowned as one of the Eight Wonders of Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake is also the most famous source of hydroelectric power, offering key tourist themes - "high mountain and lake", "indigenous culture", and "nature ecology", the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area attracts mre than six million visits each year. Top scenic spots in the lake area include Wenwu Temple.
Wen Wu Temple - The mejestic temple sits on a mountainside, north of Sun Moon Lake was built according to the landscape. Wenwu temple is known to be largest around the area and it's not hard to tell that. We were greeted by the towering dark green Memorial arch entrance followed by a huge square area. In it, two giant red stone lions flanked the steps to the temple halls.
Alishan National Forest Recreational Area - One of only three mountain railways in the world. Apart form th scenic train trip, it's known for its beautiful forests, cloud formations, sunrise views etc.TAICHUNG
Yizhong Street Business District - Is like one big kitchen. Yizhong Street provides a great variety of local Taiwanese delicacies such as Oyster Omelet, Bubble Tea, Stinky To-Fu and etc. With much more than just food stalls and school building, it also features a wide range of fashion clothing, scceddories and gadgets at affordable prices for students too.
