Most of the architecture in the Pink City are in pastel-perfect shades of earthy reds, and pinks. It’s a vibrant sight to behold for travelers, plus photographers and Instagrammers would find their fingers itching to snap away!

This pink structure is Jawahar Circle, the largest circular park Asia, which is on a busy traffic signal. It is surrounded by lush gardens, and intricately designed with eye-catching colours.
3. There is the pink Jal Mahal in the middle of the lake

Ths Water Palace one of the most peaceful spots in Jaipur. Once a shooting lodge for the Maharajah, this low-rise sand coloured palace is situated in the middle of Sagar Lake.
4. Hawa Mahal aka Palace of the Winds

Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 as part of the City Palace so that royal ladies can observe everyday life without being seen.

Speaking of symmetry, near Jaipur is a small village called Abhaneri, where Chand Baori and its 100ft maze stairs descend onto a stepwell. Used to harvest rainwater, women in saris can be seen going down to fetch water. A mesmerising and oddly satisfying sight!

13. This beautiful love story behind the Glass Hall

The Sheesh Mahal is said to have been built by the Maharaja for his queen, who loved to sleep under the sky. Since the queen was not allowed to sleep in open air, he fashioned a hall from glass so that a single stream of light would create a thousand stars around her.
14. The markets are just colourful

The street markets of Jaipur are worth going even if only for the sights, sounds and smells. You can find all sorts of textiles, perfumes, clothes, trinkets, jewellery and household items sold here. Some popular ones are the Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar.
