The minute we arrived Penang after 5 hours drive..the view of this hotel from the lobby is breathtaking.. we could feel the seabreeze immediately...coconut trees and white sandy beach, and the lighting was perfect..The rooms I admit need refurbishing ...but for the price we paid I did not expect so much! There is a jacuzzi and nice swimming pool, a kiddy land , 24 hour room service and a restaurant and gym..decent place for families..shells on the beach are so unique..we are from KL and felt like we were in another country. The location was also perfect as no need to travel through the winding road like the BIG GUN hotels in Batu Feringghi, too far away from town..this place is just right.. Let me not forget to mention the staff, every single on of them, so polite and ready to serve..helpful and so pleasant.. and I understand that they would be renovating soon ..good for them..I will definately stay here again!

Room air conditioning was often not working. Breakfast buffet was lousy – there were rotten cherry tomatoes at the salad bar and the chicken ham had gone bad.

It was unplanned vacation. We supposed to check in @3pm but many guests were asked to wait until 1/2 an hour. It's really disgusting to especially people like myself who have baby and small kids wt us. The reason gven was room is not ready. When i voiced out my dissatisfaction to the front desk, they channelled me to an Indian guy (who i believe is the Hsekeeping Supv), This guy was DAMN RUDE!!! He was saying dis..'mau tunggu la..'. If i'm not thinkin bout my children who look so exhausted, i would definitely rush back to KL!!!!

if u expect 4 star ratings this definitely not up to par but its a value for money hotel, stay for a lower price but can enjoy magnificent view of the sea. Go for its sea view rooms only. The buffet food is very nice...staff s friendly, but toilets need renovation, though still acceptable, hot water very good with high pressure.Would be great if the hotel could provide 2 queen bed for families with small kids.

good location, nice seaview room...can walk by the beach side n collect lots of seashells..love the restaurant where they serve buffet...very relaxing view..lack of proper parking lots...room is pretty clean..reasonable price..provide watersport facilities with reasonable price...will definitely go back to this hotel ...

the hotel location is good..u can just take bus(rapid-penang) to anywhere just outside the lobby =)..oh ya..it's near toy museum,batu feringghi and gurney..got a very nice sea view..recommend to get a sea view room! shores restaurant ( u can have buffet there) got a classic loook..service was excellent too. it's worth for the money u're paying! never miss it =)

Stayed in their Seaview Room. Nice view, spacious room & value for money. Lobby is still under renovation, simple but nice deco. Check-in & check-out was really smooth. Good location - near to Ferringhi & Gurney Drive. One thing to highlight - hotel lack of parking spaces. The guard asked us to park at the open parking space far from the hotel, and hell NO! we dont wanna take a risk. Thank God they allowed us to park at one of the empty space near the lobby.

When I and family reach there, we saw the main entrance was under constrution, so looks very messy, so we feel not so good initially!
But after we check-in the room, the room actually is quite good! And we found that, they going to upgrade themself, the restuarant looks very classic and and we enjoy our breakfast over there!
The beach is not suitable for swiming but the swiming pool is very nice!
Anywhere, I and family like this Hotel!

Slow response of reception. Need to wait around 15 minutes just to check-in. The room is not bad, just that the wardrobe seems to be old. Restaurant food is good, better than i expected. The beach is a bit dirty, but still it is in satisfactory condition. The location of hotel is good as it is nearby to Gurney Plaza and George Town. I can simply travel there by bus. Compare to Batu Ferringgi, the beach is not as nice but for those who like shopping, it is better to stay here. Hope that the reception will improve next time.
