The family suit was not my expect which bed room was small so our extra bed was put on living area,
The air-con in the guess room has abnormal sound all night so that we can't sleep well in 1st night, after they fixed the air-con, the abnormal sound still there and our master room air-con begin to have another noisy sound in the 3rd day morning.
I suggest the hotel management should pay attention to all room air-con condition & the bath room water function.

Everything except the cruelity to animals an dthe charity donation boxes were great!!! The staffs were rude to me. On top of that, the pool was useless, the beach was a dirty place. Room is Ok but the telephone is totally useless. The sleepy looking Indian man was very rude to me. I should tell you this. They said that they have FREE internet access in each room. But when I went there I had to PAY a sum of RM10 which is a disgrace. I went to my room, no Internet access .The check in was at 3pm(2pm according to the internet). But I only got the room at 4pm. The planters lounge's waiter was the only staff that was polite to me. This is our first and last stay at this hotel!

Stayed there from 10th until 12th Dec 2009. Reached the hotel about 3pm after long drive from central region. Was extremely tired and haven't take our lunch upon that time. After check in, realised, the air conditioner unit is not functioning. When i called the house keeping customer service, SHE talked rudely and disconnected the line without asking if there anything else that she could help me. Waited for almost 20mins, the Technician didnt appear, then when i called back, SHE answered my call again and said that the Technician is on his way with her rude talking style. . After 30 mins from my first call, he arrived. Can you u imagine it it takes 30mins for him to come, If there's any problem to rectify then they should inform me. There's 2 Air conditioners located in the room and another 1 nos at hall. Both is York brand. After the Technician checked, found that they wrongly located the remote. And the remote was modified from the original specification. Then once it was done, we straight away went out for lunch and spent time at some places till late night. Once back to hotel around 11pm, we took our bath and while going to bed, realised that there was a lot sand inside the bedsheet. exremely frustrated with their house keeping service. I called the reception to clean up our room. A guy came, without saying sorry or anything, he said the bedsheet is in tidy condition. When i ask him to feel the sandy condition inside the bedsheet, he kept quiet and change the inner bedcheet. Then he asked me rudely again to check either there's any sand as though we simply take the sand and put it inside the bedsheet on that midnight. Without saying sorry and sour face he left our room. Really frustrated on their house keeping service. Should send them to learn how to talk to customer. Food was OK but no variety as Bayview Hotel Batu Feringgi even the rate is also the same. The beach was dirty and water is oily. Maybe due to the water sports boats near the beach. No maintenance for the bech, i guess. The parking will fully occupied after 11pm by hotel guests and Taj Pub guests. And u have to park ur car besides Dalat school. The car park in unsecured with security and it'll take 10 mins walking distance.
Oh i forgot to mention another matter. When I called the reservation customer service (Alice), she said there;s sea view room for 2 persom, so i booked that room but during check in, the reception said they only have slunting sea view and not full sea view. They cheated me.Supposed to mention that during reservation. All those info should be in their finger tips. This hotel will be out of our hotel list in Penang and not worth to stay if compared to amount paid for our stay. Prefer to stay to other hotel.By the way, drop by Hard Rock Hotel. It's superb.

Stayed with my family for 2N 3D in conjuction with Thaipusam. The hotel is quite near to Kebun Bunga where the Thaipusam festival are held. We have stayed in one bedroom suite. Very spacious with dining table, wash basin and kitchen cabinet ( but i don't think cooking is allowed). Very nice sea view ( though partially only). The beach is very clean and nice, the pool area is very tempting with a spectacular view. Breakfast is so-so only, nothing to shout about. The bathroom - i think the hotel should change the tiles and add more lights. apart from that, the bathroom is quite spacious. Hot water for shower was on and off. Overall, we had a pleasent stay.

I was fully disappointed with the services provided by the front desk. On the first day of my arrival the front desk office, Mastura didn't even infrom me that I need to get a special card to get a towel at the pool side. Not only that I felt cheated with the information posted in the web by cuti.com.my for the facilities availble in the hotel such as the squash court. I didn't know that I have to rent the court at the rate of RM20/hr if I want to play which I feel that it is ridiculous. This have never been mention in the website or even inform to me by the front desk office, Mastura. When I asked her where is the squash court, she just told me that I can get the keys from the attendant and open the door and play.
Last but not least, on the last day I was just requesting to extend my check out time but to my disappointment I was rudely rejected by one of the front desk officer on duty at that time. I called at about 11.30am. The lady told me that I have to check out by 11.30am which in the voucher and the website, it is stated at 12pm. Not only that, I was being force to check out exactly by 12 noon or I'll be charge for extra staying. Even on my first day of checking-in I was being told that I can only check in at 3pm instead at 2pm but once again the website and voucher that I received stated at 2pm.
My overall conclusion is the hospitallity of this hotel is very disappointing. I have been travelling around and staying in many places but unfortunately I'm very unhappy with this hotel. It is sadly said that even a 3-star hotel can provide a better and polite hospitallity. By the way, I stayed from 13th to 16th Oct 2007.

Very good.
The reception was friendly. Room was clean and ambience worked well for my KL-ite nerves. The beach was a bit crowded since it was smack in the middle of school holidays, but still clean!
The food (breakfast / room service) was good.

Nice hotel, good view, just front of beach, friendly hotel staff, spacious room. The bad points are not enough parking lot, only family having straight view to the sea. However, I really enjoy my trip there
