Overall good as the room is big and clean. As the room is facing the main road, it is noisy. I would suggest give us an offer without breakfast that we can have local howker fares that are delicious compared to the terrible breakfast that was packaged together with the room

Overall clean room although I got the old wing. A bit noisy because renovations were going on. If guests have their own transport, it is an ideal location because it is cheap and not far from the town and other popular areas. However, without own transport, you will need to depend on cab service. Cabs don't go by the meter but their charges are quite reasonable.

We drove to Penang from KL. Parking was easily available within the YMCA compound. The room was clean. The YMCA staff was courteous and helped immediately to fix the water heater which had tripped. They gave us free breakfast voucher on request though it was not in the CUTI package.
