2010-06-28 16:59:29   DucaX   We had a great time at Sri Sayang Resort Apt. BUT.. Unsatisfied due to space parking lots are very limited all check in guest MUST pay RM5 /night. Supposed its free parking for guest. Parking are safe due to 24 hours security control. Room and TV was too old/small and the channels are so bad/not clear. It would be better if there was ASTRO facility included. Please foward those comments to the respective hotel to improve their service. Thanks Date of stay: 2010 Jun

The only dissatisfaction in the appartment was the TV was too old and the channels are so bad/not clear accept sometime TV3 was a bit watchable. It would be better if there was ASTRO facility included bacause it would have been best entertainment mode after outing the whole day. The best part was i love the sea view from the bedrooms(i took 2Room apt). No regrets. Date of stay: 2009 Oct

2009-08-03 22:08:31   izzam_anuar   Sri Sayang needs to re-look to their character as an apartment hotel at penang without any advantage. they have no beach which means guests has to cross over a road to get to a dirty beach (which basically has been conquered by Shang ri - la). But who really cares, the beach is so dirty, the water is so rough and dirty, full with dog shit (I saw two dogs running around) - useless for beachers. They only have 1 small pool to accommodate to the entire in-house guests. However, patrons are only allowed to wear swimming suit to use the pool (not even tshirt, tudung, etc etc) as my family members was scolded by a security asked to remove the tudung. **I will discuss this further in my travelers blog soon :) -the pool, dirty with sands, my concerns is, there is no beach nearby, but the sands like the pool is the beach. The coffee house, it is small, and the cook need energy and gentle feel to give better touch on the taste, hee hee. if u know what i mean chef. In short words, no beach, small dirty pool with strict RnR, small coffee house outlet, far from town. The choice is yours.. Date of stay: 2009 Aug

How about the other lady which stay there but cannot wear a bikini especially for Muslim?? Also I lost my new towel,I ask them to find for me but they say the towel has lost. 2008-06-01 13:53:29   sha   Although the rate reasonable but not worth it with your money. They offer 1 bedroom apartment but they dont have one actually. They still give 2 rooms but with condition, you cant use the other room. If cant, why dont they lock the room??? Its that wired ?? How can you control your 5 years old son from playing around the house not entering the unlock room?? The condition, you will charge 2 room if the room unclean. The solution, I just went back to the apartment at late nite when my son already sleep. The interior very bad and old. My brother who stay here 10 years ago said, nothing was changed. Everything is the same. The bed very old, if your weight more than 70kg, the bed sure will be broken into 2. All furniture very all, the tv very small and bad reception of signal. All electrical wiring system very dangerous, they just jumping the wire each other. The kithen very dirty and the kettle also damage already. I found 3 big cockroach inside the house. They dont fill up the toiletteris although you stay more than a nite. The restaurant not attractive at all. The first accomodation I stay that I have to pay for the parking, RM5/pernite. If I am giving a choice, sure I am not choose Sri Sayang for my next vacation. Better Cuti.com drop this hotel from your list for your good reputation. Date of stay: 2008 May

Bathroom is ok but bath tub has some broken parts which could pose some danger. In-house guest still has to pay for parking at rm5 per nite. Swimming pool is ok, but very small for a large apartment and the water is quite murky too. Furnitures is very very old and no utensils provided in the kitchen although cooking is allowed. Overall apartment's surroundings is clean and acceptable. Date of stay: 2008 Apr

2006-09-05 22:54:25   muzzy_sabil   During my stay, here are some comments for the hotel mgmt for further action and improvement: 1. Environment Generally, landscape and leanliness on the garden can be accepted. Location is also not bad as located along Batu Feringhi road just opposite the Rasa Sayang Shangrila. During our stay, there were no signboard showing the floor level and also the unit number. We were quite lost at our first arrival checking in. 2. Parking Unsatisfied due to space parking lots are very limited and further more, all check in guest must pay RM5 /night. Parking are safe due to 24 hours security control. 3. Reception Front desk officers are friendly and quite helpful. 4. Housekeeping Very bad. Service is too slow which we need to wait almost 15-20mins for just an iron board and praying mat. 5. Interior I'm not sure about other units, but unit that we stayed need to be more clean and tidy. Suggest mgmt to install a window grill in each bedroom. I find out the rooms are very dangerous to the kids when they are alone as they can easily fall down from the top floor. The rooms are scary honestly. Look out for yourself and be careful on your kids. Overall the unit must need extra touch up and major refurbishments. 6. Bathroom. Water pressure was fantastic. But the condition very poor. The ceiling was broken. Stains on the floor/wall/toilet bowl/bath tub need more extra monitory. 7. Furniture & Fittings. Very old and quite dusty. Need to be changed if possible. Must be more service apartment oriented. The TV is not suitable anymore as condition very sad and also too small for a big living hall. (14") However you can have a good nite sleep. Aircond conditions are very poor , the only thing need to be changed to a new unit. 8. Recreatioanal Facilities. Swimming pool need more intensive maintenance as I was like standing in the sea due to many sands, stones or dust on the bottom. Pool Water need to be changed regularly for hygienic purposes. Tennis court need further touch up and refurbishments. 9. Rates. Rates are reasonable and accepted according to the units provided. Date of stay: 2006 Aug

2005-11-06 22:30:57   judithia_w   Location is not bad, we can walk to the beach and all units have ocean view, with a balcony to enjoy the view. However, facilities are not up to standard, for example: - Kitchen: There's no utensils in the kitchen except for cups (what's the point of providing a kitchen then?) and if we want to rent the utensils, we have to pay RM20. With that sort of price, we can actually buy cheap utensils from the supermarket!. We brought take away food to the apartment thinking at least there would be spoon, but was very dissapointed and had to eat using our hands. - Bathroom: There's no floor mat in the main bathroom, so it's very difficult to keep the apartment floor dry after shower. There's no shower curtain in the 2nd bathroom, everthing is wet after shower... toilet seat, bathroom sink, etc. In the main bedroom, there's a funny rule posted on the wall that aircon & water heater cannot be turned on at the same time. - Hallway from lift to apartment was dirty with small pools of old rain water here and there -- thoughts of dengue lurked in our mind. Small size TV, some window without curtain, bathroom not proper clean and require to pay parking (suppose free parking for guest). My advise, take another alternitive. Date of stay: 2005 Aug
