1. The surroundings are excellent and this is the only positive comment I have.
2. The first room we were given had the air condition leaking all over the entrance, and the TV area. We then requested for an alternative room. The air conditioned there made a storm of a noise. It was unbearable. They were not able to shift us to another room as it was full occupancy.
3. We had to convince them to tidy up the room. The feedback received was the hotel was full and they are not sure they are able to tidy up our room.
4. The key card had to be recalibrated every day. We would have to walk back to the reception, get it changed and then walk back a tedious distance to our room. Despite our request to have the card calibrated upon our return daily, we were forced to trudge up the room, only to find it cannot be opened. Then we would repeat the procedure of returning to the front desk, get it calibrated and back again for the complete 5 day duration stay.
5. Only two towels, no hand towels as it was full on all days.
6. The staff were absolutely preoccupied with friendly neighbours from Singapore.
7. The staff could improve on their courtesy and follow up of simple essential items.
8. The wardrobe was messy, smelly. The safe was not working and it was not replaced during our stay.We had to keep our passports with us at all times.
9. Breakfast was average. certainly Gurney suites in penang has much to offer.
10.Jeez what a sickening experience for RM 250 a night.
11. Other hotels in JB offer better service for much less.
