Just came back from Seri Malaysia Kuantan. Room was ok, but the breakfast not much choice. However for RM150, you can get better hotel in Kuantan.

for me, i will not recommend u to go here..the room is very bad for me compare to its price..u just can get another better hotel with its price..its furnish look old and its service is slow..the swimming pool is small and not enjoy it..will not stay here again next time if i'm coming to kuantan..i have stayed 3 hotels before in kuantan..this is the worst hotel that i've stayed..hopefully they can increase their service..TQ.

Stayed in deluxe room for a nite.Found that the shower area is so small (0.5x0.5m) only. Don't expect much frm the pool as it is small and the depth is shallow. The room was clean though.
However observed that room service is bad. The room was not provided with drinking water, so I asked for a jug of water. The person on the phone asked me to get it myself frm the restaurant, unbelievable!

The Kuantan Seri Malaysia has an impressive lobby. Rooms and pathways leading to the Rooms look a lot like School buildings. Saw the swimming pool. But dat time only RM90 per nite. So can't complain much. Nothing much for breakfast though.

My hubby and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel during our second anniversary. We weren't so keen to stay at near the beach hotel/resort as we were a bit paranoid with tsunami. It's not the kind of hotel to impress you, but considering the price, the staff and service were very good.
The food at Banir Cafe' was good, too, except that the steak's sauce was a little bit too salty. Everything else is fine, but I'd suggest the hotel management upgrade their bathrooms. They were clean but shower curtain and toilet lid were due for new ones.

What do you expect from Seri Malaysia?. It just good for a short stay, value for money and I think that was the purpose of Seri Malaysia. But I now realised that some of the SM had swimming pool including Kuantan. But I never had a chance to try and even see it!

I would like to recommend the Hotel Grand Continental Kuantan. My stay there heavenly. I wasn't bring many bag just 2 very tiny bags and a video cam bag., but still the bell boy still want to help me with the bags and carried up to our room.The room is spacious for RM 132 a nite. Not like other hotels I've been before they mostly save on the space and overcharge you.Pls pay a visit there and u'll find it nice.

for RM100 for family room ( 1queen & 1single bed ) , the room was good & the breakfast also good .
Only reluctant that we have to wait for 1/2 hour to check in although we have called in on the way to say we are arriving , we arrive past check in time & we have to wait for another 1 hr for towels that was supposed to be supplied prior check-in .
