2010-12-16 16:54:50   isam8780   My sister booked 4 rooms and all the rooms is ok la, but the bathroom was very very poor...not only my room the next room also got the same thing with the bathroom.....I really hate it.....so many problems with the bathroom.....The hotel should check first whether the bathroom is ok or not....called for maintenance but after repaired still the same problem occurred...so terrible....this is the 1st time I got the bad bathroom for whole of my life staying at hotel and resort.....even chalet's bathroom also is very good compared to Legend....too many mosquitoes at night inside the room and bathroom....This is the 1st and last I stayed here...not recommend to people out there....the pool and outdoor game is quite ok Date of stay: 2010 Dec

Spacious, clean and tidy room - bathroom OK - pool so big & nice.Exactly near to the beach which is very clean too.. Breakfast all okay. Date of stay: 2010 May

The breakfast was ok lah.... but the F & B Manager should improve on the quality and taste of the food. Overall everything is fine .... hope to coming back again and hope to see some improvement. 2007-10-08 16:17:42   cuticom   The stays were pleasant with the help of a very friendly duty manager, he 1st showed us the rooms before we decided, help us to bring all our luggage to the room & make sure the aircon is working. The hotel also attend to our compaint on the toilet flash quite fast, by the time we reached the room the problem has been fixed by the maintenance staff. Most of the staff should be commented for being helpful & friendly eventhough during the hot fasting month. The place is nice with 2 big pool but the room need refurbishing especially the toilet, the hotel need to install safe deposit box for safe keeping of guest valuable. Overall well done. 2007-07-16 16:17:14   xanaya   The front desk+F&B staff weren't really friendly, i would say rather arrogant, acted as if they own the resort. Only the housekeepers were friendly. I wonder whose brainy idea was it to put the aircond's compressor on the balcony? When you wanna laze on the balcony hot air spews onto you, and when you open the balcony's door the noise from the compressor annoys you.. They should give bedroom slippers cause the floor is always so sandy and the sand gets on the bed. And they won't come to sweep it every hour that's for sure. I wouldn't rate this hotel 4-star. He knew the problem but cannot solve the problem and did not report to the management. Second, bad management for swimming pool towel card. Third, too much mosquitoes when we came inside the room. 2007-05-23 20:18:00   narico   We stayed at the resort for 4D3N and had a many opportunities to survey the place and experience the resort. We also switched rooms a few times and concluded that the air-cond in the older rooms aren't working properly. The temperature was set to the maximum (cold) and it was NOT cold. At nights, it was actually quite warm. The older rooms also DO NOT have a ceiling fan like the newer rooms. The flush for our first room wasn't working properly. You had to flush 3 times to get it to flush properly. The room we ended up staying for the remainder 2 nights did not come complete with hand towels, and face towels as did the first room. Plus the floor mat was missing. It took them many hours to bring a floor mat and an extra towel. It is true that the staff here are friendly and accomodating which is definitely a PLUS, however, the hotel services in general needs to be looked into. Facilities are good though and I can imagine this is a good place to bring the whole family to, as there are activities for everyone. The kids would love the facilities. I was disappointed that Man's Cafe wasn't open the whole time we were there, but perhaps they only open during the peak season. The food at the main restaurant was good, I especially liked the Sate Sauce. Breakfast was so-so only, variety was so-so and most items would be cold if you went late. Overall, I have mixed feelings about going back. If they can repair the aircond for the older rooms and remember to give us a lower floor room with a King Bed then I would consider. My fiance and I walked back and forth with our bags changing rooms 4 times to get the specifications we wanted. Date of stay: 2007 May

2007-05-02 19:21:19   wooi801   I stay there for 1 night and the room is not quite up to my expectation. First of all, I was shock to find find out that there isn't any quilt cover or blanket when i enter the room, Luckily, the room service sent it within minutes after calling the room service. But isn't the room service need to make sure everything is ready before let the next guest to go into the room. Second, bathroom floor trap has some problem, water from bathtup will be back flow to the bathroom through floor trap once released and flooded entire bathroom. Just imagine how iritated it is. Have to wait for sometime for the water to receed. Call maintenance to check but nobody show up after one hour of waiting. Third, the hot water is not really a hot water, it more likely a warm water. Forth, breakfast is terrible, very very limited choice. Just imagine that i can try everthing in only one serving. Not quite a 4 star hotel standard. Fifth, a very 'beach' like bed. I can feel there is some sand on the bed sheet. Beside these few bad impression, there are some good point. the staffs are polite, room is spacious and didn't have weird smell, air cond. is good, swimming pool is especially nice. My recommendation, not quite worth to stay especially during super peak seasons. Date of stay: 2007 May

2004-07-18 17:03:25   Andy Ong   I stayed at Legend Cherating for 2 nights in 2002. I love the beach, room and the service is very good. A MUST place to stay if you are visiting Cherating.
