near to Tanah Rata main street, can take some refreshment (mamastall, starbuck, marrybrown, cakehouse, and sundries shop) and near to a secondary school that having big field with nice garten next to it. 5 minutes drive to Brinchang.
But few problems, 1. room door lock run out of battery and need staff to climb in to replace it, 2. washroom bulbs few not working but complaint and replace in short time, 3. toilet overflow, 1st time i experience in a hotel but fixed,

PROs - The hotel looked nice. The room is cleaned. Hot shower & long bath tub is great. Checked in was not a hassle.
CONs - The person who took our reservation didnt mentioned clearly on the room charges if it is gross or net. I guess we mistakenly took it as net and was surprised that it is not . Since it was partly our fault, we didnt complain, however there was another customer there who has the same problem and he argued it was told to him net. The reception counter lady didnt know how to handle the customer and immediately ask the manager to come over and settle. The room has no fan despite the afernoon can be hot & sweaty when indoors and the price of the room is not worth it.
I prefer to try out other hotels if i should come to Cameron again

Not satisfy with hotel staff. Although during my stay consider super peak period (CNY Holiday) they should not make it as excuse. During check in, they give me room key, but i'm shocked when see my room not ready at all. Pillow without pillow case, reason pillow case finish and need to wait. No hand towel and floor towel. And make things more worse, no kettle. When i request for hot water, they (Mr Chong, Receptionist) also insists to send it. I need to go myself to pick it up from hotel restaurant. Lousy services!!!!!
Once complaint to Mngmt the next day, then all facilities they provide to me. In my view, they shold tach more their staff about hospitality. We as a customer should receive what ever we purchase. Don't simply take it for granted. For sure, compaint i'll send to their top management.

Great stay. Was there on 1 - 3 May 2009 with wife and 2 kids. Have been staying in other hotels in Cameron. Booked after reading the comments here. The best location in Tanah Rata. Walking distance to shops around Tanah Rata. The Deluxe room is spacious. Could improve on 1. The quilt cover - should change more often. 2. Breakfast should have more varieties especially during peak seasons. Kudos to Uncle James for your kind hospitality. But word of cautious, please dont go to Cameron during peak seasons, you ended up spending your time in your car.

The hotel itself is superb. Didn't expect it to be as real as the photo shown here. Was impressed with the outlook itself. However, the front desk staff were not so friendly upon our arrival at almost 11pm. I happened to bump into another guest who was complaining to the front desk that the first aid box of the hotel was not stocked up to aid the needy people. I was rather shocked by his angry expression and decided to find out what had actually happened. One of the guys at the recep said, "don't know.. maybe his son or somebody else's son fell down.. sent to hospital" His comment was rather ambiguous and even worrying! The lobby itself was spacious and grand. I have reserved for 2 rooms, but another room given was 2 single bed for a pair of married couple. When I requested for another replacement room, the only respond I got was, "there is no other room available". No further assistance was given. That got my friend rather pissed off. The deluxe room was very nice with balcony, except that the view from the Block A's first floor was way too plain. I think the hotel should also provide complimentary bottled mineral water to the room guests as a token of appreciation. The toilet was clean and spacious too. But we still heard noises from other guests above our room even after we have made a complaint. the breakfast was not too bad but more varieties should be provided for improvement. Overall, the whole experience I had at the hotel was good and above average. If some minor issues could be improved, Century Pines would definitely be able to retain and attract new guests!

I just went back from Cameron Highlands for honeymoon. if I go to CH again, i will choose Century Pines. overall the hotel is good with its resort surroundings, breakfast and room facilities. the room is big with king bed size, separate toilet, shower n bath tub. the price using CUTI is more cheaper than walk in. although the hotel rating is 3 star but it seem like i stayed in 4 star hotel.
it was a nice and memorable vacation that i have but the journey is tiring coz i'm driving from kuantan. its about 5 1/2H.. overall...tq CUTI

the hotel was nice. The deluxe room is comfortable. I enjoy sitting at the balcony. The reception counter not very friendly. Room service (we request for extra bed) was slow. Bell service also slow (check out time). But overall - OK.

Perfect hotel for my family. Our first plan is to stay one night and change to another hotel in Brinchang on the second night. But end up we stay 2 nights. Room is clean with a good smell, well maintain, good furniture and well decorate. Toilet is spacious. Location is good - walking distance to Tanah Rata town. If you decide to stay here - request a room in new building and level 3 and above facing the garden. With the view - you will end up few hours at the balcony. Price is quite high for the Deluxe room standard. Mgt should give 1 free ;-)) steamboat dinner for those who stay more than 1 night - their steamboat is excellent. We will definately will make this hotel as a must stay hotel in our next Cameron Trip.
