2011-12-13 12:12:24   AbgJijoi   Stay there on the 10/12/2011. Reach Colmar at 1.00pm. Check in..due to the standard check in time that is 3pm, my wife and I have to wait another 2 hours. In the meantime, visit the Botanical Garden and Japanese Village. We got a call from the front desk that our room is ready so we went back to the hotel. The room is nice and cosy. The place is nice with the French mideval atmosphere. The food is very expensive so we had no choice. The front desk is very helpful. The worst thing is when you call from room service it takes 15 to 20 mins for them to answer. They should be more efficient in this area not to keep people waiting.. Date of stay: 2011 Dec

2010-04-22 15:27:48   arba2010   I've stayed for 2 day 1 night in Superior Room. The room is a little bit old but still acceptable. Spacious and can accomodate more than 5 people in one room. Scenery and the ambience is nice. Just prepare more cash as the food is expensive or otherwise bring your own food. My twins enjoy the stay especially the Japan Garden and Rabbit garden. This hotel lacks 'makan' place - not suitable for choosy traveler or those on budget. Can experience lots of activities,rabbit farm,botanical garden,Japanese Tea House,Horse Riding etc. The new road going to the resort is windling therefore make sure your vehicle in good condition and your fuel tank is full. We need to show hotel key/card to pass by security to parking lots. During the trip there was too many stuff in my car and I need some time to look for the hotel key. The security guard did not give me any time to search for the key and keep shouting at me and ask me return! Finally I got the hotel key and he did not apologize for what he did also. I give my credit to the food served (Dinner & Breakfast) A lot of choices. 5 stars for Breakfast menu. My suggestion: Hotel to provide some more lepaks area (outside restaurant). 2009-02-10 16:27:32   gkylie   I checked into the hotel for a weekend stay and was quite disappointed with the maintenance of the hotel. The façade of the hotel is no doubt very nice, but it is time they upkeep their rooms as well. It is bad to deceive people by maintaining only the exterior of the hotel and not the interior. I booked a room and the check-in went well. We intend to freshen up and then go for a walk around Colmar Square and perhaps grab a dinner; however, we were delayed because the sink is stuck. The water just refuses to go down and the sink is flooded. We called maintenance and after ½ hour, they manage to solve our problem (but it’s still stuck and the water is still going down very slowly). Then we went walking around Colmar Square looking for a place where we can have our dinner. We finally settled at L’Orient. When we sat down nobody even bothered to come take our order. We called out for a waitress, and she just ignored us and walks straight into the kitchen. After about a good 15 minutes of waiting, a different waitress finally took our orders. We were so dissatisfied with the way the 1st waitress ignored us, we decided to cancel our order and go elsewhere. As expected, all the waitress is in the kitchen (for what reason unknown to men), my friend has to walk to the kitchen to cancel our order. While trying to get attention to cancel our order, the rude waitress didn’t even bother to ask us if we need help, she just bluntly said “Excuse Me!” because my friend is blocking the kitchen door (what the @#$%!!!!). We just walked out of the restaurant annoyed. And we thought that will be the end of our bad experiences, we were faced with squeaky beds, aircond not functioning well (so hot at night) and no hot water in the morning. Date of stay: 2009 Feb

My rome is a 2 room suite, most of the door lock ( toilet door and room door) are spoilt, cannot lock. The toilet bath tub also got problem, there is a small hole inside the bath tub, when you step inside the bath tub, dirty and smelly water coming out from the hole. Date of stay: 2008 Aug

Very nice place, attractive. 1 thing I most be disappointedted is the sidewalk Deli (Le Flamme), I order (french fries) to take away and it's tooks me around 35 minutes to be ready for the food. I order in 16:17pm till 16:55pm still not ready.. and I still pay for the service tax.. So Embarrassing and Ashamedness. The waiter so annoying, not to friendly. Maybe it happen to me, wrong timing..
