There is white sandy beach to have a jog to enjoy the scenery of the Straits of Malacca. The hotel facilities that is being provided is for hotel guest to enjoy such as gym and sauna, swimming pool. I would bring my family to stay here again in future vist to PD. Date of stay: 2011 Feb

2011-02-06 14:28:08   aleeyaridz   We stayed 3 days 2 nites (3 Feb - 5 Feb 2011) in a family deluxe room. We were surprised to find that there was a room with extra 2 single beds above us. The front desk staff was friendly. The checked in & checked out process was fast too. Breakfast was good with various choices. The beach was beautiful & clean. However, the hotel only allow 2 persons per room to get in the pool since the pool is not big enough. We were charged RM5 per extra pillow. There was no hose in the bathroom too. But overall, the room was clean & ok. Looking forward to stay here again. Would be good if they have a game room too. Date of stay: 2010 Dec

2010-02-22 17:01:01   stephyw   My family and I were having a trip to PD! Unfortunely choose this suck resort! It's really bring us a very bad impression. Our check in time suppose at 3pm but then whn we going to check in the front desk told us the room is not clean yet! It's ok of there are just for awhile, but after that we asked again thn they told us all the housekeeper went to break and no one can clean the room for us, need to wait till 4pm (they finish break time)! We wan to find out those person who in charge for management to investigate this but all is holiday and no working, even the housekeeper's supervisor also leave. we almost 10 peoples with children and baby are standing or sitting on the FLOOR at lobby there cos there are not much waiting zone for us to sit. Finally we got our room and that was after 1and a half house - 4.30pm. We still take another room and that room's aircond is not really working.It's still hot even we switch till coolest! Here to apologize to the front desk cos few of them quite nice and friendly although they can't help much.And hopeless to the BAYU BEACH RESORT management! PLEASE improve ur service, it's really bad to ask ur guest wait for so long to check in! Date of stay: 2010 Feb

2010-01-05 11:44:09   shafeek   I went to BBR for the first time in Dec 09 with my family. We booked 2 units 2 bedroom apt and 1 studio room. BBR is a 3-star hotel and I didn't have any high expectations. If your intentions is to give the kids a good time, then this is the place. I have two kids and to me the most important thing is the swimming pool. My kids had fun in the pool. The food was good. The apt units were okay. They were clean. The furniture looks old but that was not a problem. The staffs were quite friendly to me. I would go again, if I had the opportunity. Date of stay: 2009 Dec

2009-08-03 15:44:35   izzam_anuar   it was my 2nd visit to PD after the 1st boring vacation (I left my comment in Corus Paradise segment). i took the risk to go to PD again as it was super unplanned :) Bayu beach resort had successfully change my perception about PD from 'old' and 'ruin' beach, no quality food and quiet place to actually there is still best spot exist in few secret location, suit for family, team building and group vacation - a better than cOrus :p (opss). sand (the beach) clean, soft and spacious (Very) - Satisfaction guaranteed :), (the only thing was i found few empty alcohol bottles and strong glue container at side especially under trees). The apartments block are actually unoccupied properties, rented by Bayu management and transformed as hotel apartment, and yes, they only do provide 1 set of coffee/tea. I will say this as non frills hotel (everybody can fly - hihihihihi), with the price offered, they do provide basic but enough for simple lifestyle travelers. The Food - Erm, the breakfast was great, i did not expect that much after my 1st experience. Again, satisfaction guaranteed. The hotel I will say the best among the low stars hotel rating along the beach (i am not comparing with pavilion, avillion, legend, guoman of coz). Dinner? Erm, strongly recommend to give ur try behind The Store (in town), 1st stall (Corner lot) along the stall's row. RM 20 for two - I had the quality dinner like nobody business. :) **I will be travelling to Penang this weekend, Sri Sayang resort, will leave the comment there after the experience :) Date of stay: 2009 Jul

2009-05-05 11:04:00   fannysim   i'm absolutely dissapointed with the stay 2D1N at tis so called "resort". My first step into the apartment, the floor is so dusty n sticky. So, i tried to pick up the phone n call for housekeeping. Unfortunately , the intercom is out of order. i've tried to complaint to a staff who by pass, she told me, the intercom is out of order since long time ago. They din repair it !!! how could tis be ??? The air con filter is so dirty until we cannot feel the cooling n we wash the filter by ourself. Then i find the fridge is so small for a 3 bedroom apt, sumore it is not cooling at all. Its totally most terrible resorts i have came across in PD .... Date of stay: 2009 May

2009-04-15 11:15:27   yyokelian   Bayu Resort is too calculative!!! 3 of us checked into a one bedroom apartment (we paid extra for the third person). We were only provided with ONE coffee and ONE tea sachet and TWO creamers. we called up Housekeeping to supply another sachet but we were put off when they asked us to pay an extra RM1.50. We refused cos this is daylight robbery! Instead we requested for extra creamer for the coffee. That too, we were asked to pay! Common sense will tell you that coffee needs at least TWO sachets of creamer to taste like decent coffee. We are regulars to the stretch of beaches along PD and Bayu was one of the hotels we were trying out. Suffice to say, Bayu Beach feel very short of our expectations. Other hotels we stayed in were generous with their coffee/tea. However we wish to commend the front desk staff who were helpful and went out of their way to get the creamers from the Coffeehouse. 2008-06-16 15:55:27   nizam1402   Hi there... time to comment... After staying for 3 days in Bayu Beach, i find that all the negative comments posted here are all wrong... This hotel i suppose is 'U get waht u pay' type of hotel.dont expect much i would say. The rooms are clean, nice and tidy. no carpets though but its ok. the aircondition function well and kept us old and freezing.hehe...TV is ok,no remote control but i wont complaint. toilets are clean and well equiped.(ie: hot shower, soaps,shampoo...etc) the restaurant is what u could expect from a 3 star hotel. the usual 'nasi lemak' and mee/noodle is great.our BBQ dinner also sees some lambchops,chicken wings, beef ... etc.that is also great... the beach is of course the best beach in PD.u will never find anywhere else except in Bayu Beach. clean white sandy beach, lots of fascilities on the beach...families, couples, friends will have a great time here. All in all, Bayu Beach resort is an enjoyable place to be for any type of guest. Date of stay: 2008 Jun

2008-06-05 17:39:50   rin   Me & my family stayed in bayu beach last weekend. at first im not sure if im going to stay here when i read all the reviews but my colleague strongly recommended this resort to me. and because i can get 'Cor rate' so i've booked apt with 2 rooms for my family. on the way to PD im expecting i'll get the bad service and room but when we get there it is not as per what im expecting. the apt is OK (comfortable, clean, the toilet is in good condition, the view is nice), the pool (you can called it 'kolam rendam' rather than 'kolam renang' because it always full..) but you'll have another options which is the beach!! and that is the main reason why we go to PD right? the beach is nice and clean.. we having so much fun in the beach.. breakfast is OK (not much choices but for me u get want u pay laa..).. and you can easily find a restaurant near the resort for dinner at night.. my overall openion is, this is a worth it place to stay we would like to stay here again for our next visit to PD!! :)) Date of stay: 2008 Jun

Bayu Beach Resort...... =_____=" 1) The room given was far far away from the lift.. We have to walk for a long distance every morning to the lift.. 2) The room was not good.. The floor was dusty, even worse we have to wear our shoes and walk around in the bedroom.. The wardrobe in the bedroom is smelly, all the cloths became smelly after putting in.. The toilet was extremely small, we couldnt even turn our body in the toilet.. The air-con was terrible, noisy and old, it's time to change a new one.. The TV was bad, we was watching a "black and white" tv.. But, the view from the bed was very good.. It was facing the beach and sea.. 3) The breakfast was bad.. No variety.. ** The beach at Bayu Beach Resort was extremely beautiful.. This is the nicest beach I ever seen compare to the other resort's beach.. A soft white sand with a clear and clean sea.. There are many cute little crab at the beach.. It was a good experience at the beach.. Date of stay: 2008 May

2008-05-05 12:03:56   shaifula   I have booked six days earlier as it was a last minute plan and luckily there was still available room in BBR(Bayu Beach Resort). Thanks to Cuti.com.my. A few comments from me about BBR. 1. Easy to find its location. Near to shops restaurants and even petrol station. 2. The beach is quite clean and swimming pool is near to our room. My kids really like the pool. 3. I went there for 3D 2N but the breakfast provided is not satisfying. Same menu for both and quite dull. 4. The room have basic furniture and the view was very nice from our room. During our stay, BAM players also stayed there. They have their sort of teambuilding activities. We have a chance to meet Hafis Hashim, Wong Chung Han and all our national batminton players. We will come back to this resort in future. Date of stay: 2008 May
