Malacca. It is a 30 minute drive from the North-South Highway
(Malacca/Ayer Keroh exit), and 10 minute drive from the bus station
(Sentral). Surrounded by antique and bric-a-brac shops, it is only a
stroll away from Malacca's historical precinct.
The hotel is a carefully restored Peranakan house which
once belonged to the decendants of an eminent philanthropist and rubber
plantation owner, Tan Kim Seng. Extending 100 metres long, its distinct
characteristics are its beautiful and intricately decorated
façade and the impressive length of the house. Retaining its old
charm, Hotel Puri Melaka provides modern amenities to its hotel guests.

| brian liew | | Have a 1 night stay for during the school holiday. Hotel Puri is strongly recommended to all:
1) strategic location. Melaka is very hard to find parking nowdays and will somemore will summon easily. Hotel Puri do provide parking space (first come first serve , about 15-20 car parks) + electronic door gate. Short distance to jonker street, jalan hang tuah for less than 5min only.
2) Good service. Staff are friendly and very efficient. I reached at 130pm and they already room prepared for me.
3) Room - clean! well-deco! very melaka feel especially the wood window!
4) Well deco - the place decorated with many tradisional antique stuff. Very Melaka feel!
*ps- hotel puri have 3 floors but without lift. So please choose lower floor if you feel lazy to climb the stair.
If i visit melaka im sure that i will choose Hotel Puri.9/10 for Hotel Puri!

| ermazrul | | My credit goes to the staff - friendly and helpful. The room was a bit worn but still ok for me as I spent most of my time outside the hotel, touring Malacca :) . The hotel shud work more on breakfast though. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay and I'll definitely come to Hotel Puri again.

| bervin | | I just came back from my Malacca trip. I feel very happy and satisfy with the room condition coz very clean and nice. I know many people will complain about the breakfast but for me it is good enough. Next time I will choose this hotel again.

illysya | | Very nice and historically sound hotel. We actually enjoyed exploring the whole hotel which we seldom do inside a hotel. Like a living museum. Clean and tidy room. Breakfast a bit tasteless and not much variety.

| kichijiro | | Stayed in on new year eve. Overall, the hotel is quite good. Staff is friendly. The hotel is located js in front of Jonker Walk, walking distance to toursit spot. However, we found that the bed sheet is a bit dirty when we check in. But, I think is good service in hotel that provide to us.
Recommended stay. =)

| snoopy8283 | | Perfect location & this hotel was very charming. It used to be an old mansion interior. The foyer and ground floor area is gorgeous.
The breakfast could have been better, but the omelet is good.
However, if you are driving in a car, the carpark maybe quite troublesome as you have to approach the staff to open the carpark gate whenever you are driving in/out your vehicles.

| rozzy | | I and my hubby stayed at hotel Puri for 1 night only and we found the services is great. The hotel situated right behind jonker street and walking distance to tourist attraction. For anyone if is this a 1st trip to hotel puri, from outside u will think is an old shop lot motel but when u entered inside, u cant belived that actually they turn the atmosphere to 4 star boutique style. We really amazed with the decoration especially the courtyard & the garden..really great. Only thing lack is the front desk..no smile, there's if u check-in in the noon (middle age ladys) but in the evening, great services (young girls & boys). And another thing this hotel provide car park facilities for free but u must request for it if not the reception just keep quite..he..he.

| MS BOON YOKE CHIN | | We have a wonderful and memorable trip with our son on this Malacca trip. We are very satisfy and impressed with the services from Hotel Puri that we booked from Cuti.com. The room is clean and nice, the environment and decoration are pleasant, nice breakfast and the hotel itself is an attraction, we just like it.

| kcsim | | I consider this is a very nice motel with nice landscape in the garden, clean and cozy room, easy access to Jonker Street, and very affordable price. I stayed in Melaka for two days, one night in the Baba house, one night in Hotel Puri. Though, the price in The Baba House is cheaper (about RM90/night) than Hotel Puri (RM126.50/night), Puri is my choice. Very clean, comfortable, and quite. I didn't say anything bad about The Baba House, but one question you must ask the front desk before taking a room is 'Is the room next to elevator?' because it gets to really noisy late night. Overall speaking, i won't really mind to pay US$10 bucks more for better night of stay in Hotel Puri
