Old Hotel... with an abandon upgrading project on the side. Nothing new here... very few staff... a very quiet place to stay. Faulty Bathroom light "on & off" (short circuits).

Rather run-down hotel room - basin leaking, antique Grundig TV with max. 5 channels and as old as the hotel (>25 years). Paid RM148 for a standard room. Costly for such a hotel compared to hotels around the same area. Breakfast was only so-so.

1) Had to wait for 1 hour for breakfast. It was soo crowded. Bad hotel management.
2) Had to wait 30 min plus to use the lift.
3) Toilet leaked. Water dripped onto my head !!
4) Room was not cleaned until late afternoon. Room is also very smelly.
I checked out after 1 nite , eventhough I booked for 2 nite. It was a nightmare.

stayed here for a couple of nights...the car park is way behind the hotel,and if you plan to hang late at night,be sure to be back before 1am,the parking lot will be closed by then.checking in process took them ages to complete...the room was not bad,18th floor i guess,you can view the whole town of melaka and the straits.they do have bukit cina view(grave yard) be sure to avoid that...breakfast was ok,not many choices....location was in the town itself....maybe i would try some other hotels in my next visit there...

I'm selected Emporor Hotel becouse here provided swiiming pool.
But i observed that the pool safety and rules is ignored.
1) No provide or standby the necessary equipments (eg. pool safety ring)
2) No control who are not wearing swiiming suit enter to pool.
Beside that, no provide hair dryer in the room.
Thus, i'm regret to inform that i will not come back to here.

Great hotel, very clean and friendly staffs. Big room with great city view and the melacca straits. Close to the heritage sites and attraction locations. Very affordale. Hotel lifts need to improve because too slow due to lots of people staying at the hotel. Other than that, it's a good hotel to stay in.

The hotel building and interior is quite outdated, but still ok. The management has to focus on the lobby area for decoration. The breakfast menu is very limited and not so excellant. Overall are ok!
