MEETINGS & EVENTS
The Seri Menanti Ballroom is the largest convention facility in the Resort with the option of having two smaller meeting venues combined into one major facility. The hall is perfect for opening ceremonies, weddings, private functions and product launches. Located at Level 1, the room dimension is 2,892 sf. It can accommodate up to 250 guests for banquet seating. For cosier events, we have a junior ballroom, the Minangkabau Ballroom which can take up to 110 guests for banquet. It is located at Level 2 with a dimension of 2,480 sqft The Thistle Port Dickson Resort meeting facilities consists of 8 multi-purpose and multi-sized meeting rooms to support the larger function spaces and strategically located on Level 3 & 4 of the Resort to allow for various room combination offerings.

Not as i expected...

- open parking....side walk with no roof
swimming pool - vast, clear water but underneath full of dirt and sand
children pool - stench water but the slide was ok

- aircond terrible...too hot and sweating in room like never did any maintenance ( they should inspect all room especially AIRCOND before allow it to guest )

Thistle should do something about the flies in their restaurant Fresh. Too many flies purging on the food, the tables and everywhere. Air-con temperature in the room can't be adjusted.

I only can described the place like this :
The good :
1. Air-cond ok..
2. Bed ok..
3. Picture stated here is same with what they had..
4. Breakfast great.. I eat a lot till my stomach hurt..
5. Friendly staff only when in restaurant..
6. Got so much security guard doing their job..
7. Place is far from main road which is great..
8. So much parking space..
BUT . . Too much tense things happen..
The BAD :
1. Check-in so slow..
2. Un-friendly front-desk staff.. Maybe they saw my appearances looks like a "BOY THAT NOT RICH ENOUGH" (my body is small like a boy) so they got plain faces towards me..
3. Toilet door need to push harder n caused too much noise and disturbances..
4. No WiFi coverage in my room.. Sucks..
5. Only got LAN cable but I didn't bring my laptop.. Sucks..
6. Tv channel got "noise" in picture.. Only ESPN and Star Sports that clear.. Others are really2 bad..
7. After 2 hour check-in , 2 chinese people ring the door.. They got wrong room , I guess.. At 9 p.m , same things happen even I put "please don't disturbed" notes infront.. Is the hotel staff giving wrong information to them?? I'm trying to RELAX there !!
8. Got security ask me to go to sleep cuz it is been so late (4 a.m).. What ????? Is it your business to ask me to go sleep ??
9. The parking spaces didn't got any roof.. When it's hot day or raining, they doesn't care..
During my research, it should only got 3 or 2 star because too much bad things happen..
I only wanted a peace holiday.. But NO..
Even my holiday in Kuantan at 4 star hotel was more peaceful n my only great holiday satisfactory.. Not like in Thistle Hotel.. It's crap..
Better go for other hotel which more cheaper and maybe much better holiday..
It's true.. It's not worth with what you pay..

room is good as photo,view excellent,food delicious.there is 1 thing i m not satisfie why we have to pay for the kids club.i think have to free of charge of that,cause there is not much toys n not much things to play inside,then still have to charge RM15 per kid.totally i like there cause the service is good.hope that can be consider of the kid club charges for waive when i come in future.

i've been there for company's team building. the room is superb, all the staff are so friendly..food also superb...definitely will choose this resort for next trip....recommended for honeymoon... :)

We were there for 2 days 1 night (17th & 18th March 2010). We upgraded our room to "sea view". Room is nice and friendly staff. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Though we were there during school holiday; it was not to crowded.

Wonderful place for family gathering..my kids love the pool..staffs were friendly & helpful..rooms are GREAT!!...The pool is really large...and clean..food SEDAP! Definitely will go there again and will recommend my family & friends to go there!! Overall...enjoyed my stay very much!

BEST!!! My kids enjoyd it VERY MUACCHH!! I love d kids pool.. and the private beach, and the staffs are all helpful n kind.. Breakfast is ok..d usual but OK... I personally LOVE d interior of d bedroom. It always feel dat there's a personal touch here and there. A good improvement since d previous 'name' of d hotel :) The only setback was, I had to wait a lil bit longer to check in..maybe bcoz school holidays.. But definitely, I'LL BE BACK!!! and will b posting d photos on cuti,com soon :).

aku baru je pegi sini.. memang best giler...
layanan sgt2 bagus, bilik terbaik.. gmbar yang display sama dengan ape yang dapat masa pegi sane.. kami pegi 3 hari 2 mlm.. semua tempat sempat pegi.. cumulus club pon best, nkfst pagi ok cume kurang pilihan.. tapi tetap buleh bagi 4 bintang..
pekerja kat sane semua senyum and layanan bagus. paling best bilik dan suasana... korang akan rasa berbaloi sgt2 kalu pegi sini, sebab hotel ni baru je bukak dalam 3 bulan, semua menda masih baru dan menarik. sesuai untuk berbulan madu.....
