Named after the luxuriant fern that proliferates in the highlands, Hotel De' La Ferns is ideally located between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. Just 3 minutes drive from Tanah Rata, the English Tudor architecture offers a typically English ambiance in a cool setting.

This boutique property of 75 well-designed rooms consists of configurations that come in Single, Double, Twin and even Queensize Twin rooms. There are ample Junior and Family suites that are decorated with unique 'Japanese style' sliding doors.

For the ultimate in Highland luxury, there are two duplex style penthouse suites -- 'Cameron Ferns' and 'Highlands Ferns'.

All the rooms and suites have soothing and restful views of the rolling country side and scenic golf course. Every guest room and suite is equipped with conveniences for the modern business and leisure traveler; including HD LCD TV, satellite television and movie channels, broadband facilities and numerous other comforts and amenities like a private electronic safe deposit box, a unique, integrated coffee and tea making set and a fully stocked mini-bar and iron and ironing board facilities.

The Ferns Restaurant offers a range of western and local delights with house specials such as 'Steamboat' which is a 'do-it-yourself' cook-out where skewers of fresh meat, seafood and vegetables are dipped in a variety of steaming hot soup and tasty sauces.

The variety of the freshest salads and vegetables in meals is reflective of Cameron's 'green bowl'. The ever popular English Tea with scones and apple pie is served out on the Patio. The Patio is an alternative dining venue for guests who truly appreciate Cameron's fresh cool invigorating air.

just staying at this hotel last week..The rooms is spacious and clean. Everything is ok, staffs also smile always. Breakfast is so so but overall my wife and son love it.

Nice boutique hotel. The family room (2 queen size beds) is good for family travelers. The rooms is spacious and clean. Only two comments:-
1) The bathtub is a bit small for a family room users. 2) The breakfast is so so ........... only

Checking in fast and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is okay but there is some smell. The hairdryer is not working though we are not ardent users. At night, it can be noisy as our room is just facing the front where there is the main road and the souvenier shop. Anf the water pipe can be noisy and disturbing at night.

The breakfast spread is alright for a three star hotel :)

Overall, our 1 night stay is nice.

A return trip for my family. Nice hotel, clean and still well maintain. Sufficient parking space with good breakfast spread.The reception very courteous and helpful, they even allow me to change room after I found the room given not to my liking.
We took the steamboat dinner and the spread given is reasonable and veges are fresh.
We will certainly return and hope the hotel is able to maintain their level of service and cleanliness.

I chose the hotel because it's among the latest hotel in Cameron and I made reservation through cuti.com and I was really glad with the price I got. The hotel was beautiful, a lot of parking spaces, spacious room and the room was very clean. My room was on the 5th floor so the scenery was very amazing. But since there was no fan in the room, my daughters kept on complaining that they felt uncomfortable and one of my daughters prefer to sleep on the floor :-( I think the hotel should provide fan in the room but I'm not sure whether I could ask for it from house keeping. I really love the buffet breakfast. All the food were tasty and I really enjoyed my breakfast with wide varities but my husband said the hotel should change the menu because they served almost the same food everyday. Still fine for me because I love all the food they served :-) Although the time I was in the hotel was school holidays with a lot of people esp Singaporean but I never had problem to get seat in the coffee house and with the parking space. I highly recommend this hotel

The Hotel is nice and clean.. I've read reviews that the staffs are incompetent but i personally think they are very helpful and nice people. I dont know if they have improved following the said reviews but they seem fine to me during my last visit to the Hotel. I would rate the bathroom cleanliness at 3.5/5 and hope that they will maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and bathroom.
