rose2my | | I live in the Hotel Kondo Istana 4 days 3 nights overall satisfaction with the treatment of the hotel. However, management should take note of such a breakfast of fried rice, fried noodles, nuggets, grilled sardines and bread to be exchanged menu each day so that customers do not get bored and boring breakfast with the same menu every day. Hotel location is good as close to the shopping mall in the town on foot soup only takes about 5 minutes. Happy holidays with services cuti.com.my

Book for 2 rooms apartment but upgraded to 3 rooms apartment.
Master bedroom very big and spacoius with attached bathroom and water heater.
2nd room with 2 single beds which is very comfortable and the 3rd room with 1 single bed.
Second bathroom is outside with no water heater.
Recommended for family bacause the kids will enjoy the swimming pool.
Breakfast is very limited
First day they served Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, Baked Beans, Sausages, Bread, Butter, Jam, Coffee, Tea and Orange Jus.
Second day all the same Baked beans they replace it with Fried potatoes and Sausages replaced with Sardins.

ciksu | | generally the kondo is fine but there are a few thing could be improved such as:
- water heater in second washroom should be provided
- provide queen bed for other rooms
- extra bed needs to be upgraded. A piece of worn out mattress with worn out blanket somehow may tarnish the overall image
- serve better breakfast to attract more diners for other meal time

but there are some item to be improve like second bathroom was no water heater, the phone for using between room to hotel was cut and we have to call by using our handphone just to call housekeeping.
the wall is dirty and i suggest they need to repaint or maybe just put it wall paper.
the swimming pool is very good and clean and i can say that i will come again because the location its very strategic and easy to get a foods and near to town.
But i hope that hotel management can improve what i was written above.

The staff service is good. I stay for 3days 2night. I request for change towel, they give it to me immediately.
And for your info, the 2nd day, the cleaner came in our room for house-keeping, we are away, they clean up, and the staff there are very honest. No stealing..kakakaka..

Location-Strategic, it near the shop, even right in front of the kondo, there is malay food stall at night(malay foods and burger ramly..) & Mini Market
Swimming pool- size, quite average small, but the water and all facility are clean :-)
Room: Clean , pillow no smelly
Toilet: With hot water
All Air con is working very well!
Parking: There is ample of parking available

yeeewong | | i have stay at kondo istana for 3 days 2 night thats is really very very bad !!
~ the managmet@staff is not friendly.
~ the room is not clean as well and we found some "red colour fingernail" on the bad thats is really make us vomiting.
~ and the breakfest is very bad not to much choice juz have fried rice,noddles,hot dog,"roti kosong" with butter n strawberry jam oly, somemore the cup is very dirty !
~ lastly the obsolete equipment make us fell uncomfortable to stay in the hotel.
We hope the managment will improve the hotel standard as well !!

sorry waz late in rsvping..hehehe.. anyway tried coupla times to use ur feedback button, etc. but it does not work.. or waz it me who waz ignorant..? anyway here im emailing u guyz insted.. okey the trip to LGK was fine.. the Kondo Istana was okey.. put me in 3bedroom insted of 1 room purely because they have 3 b/room types.. anyway since we had the unit to all ourselves..it was Kingly..hehehe.. they locked the other 2 bedrooms.. fine..even dat after i told them why 3 rooms... so we choose the master b/room and me son slept in the hall.. okey with the aircond on.. and the other toilet was available..the place was very2 conveninient to Kuah town..can even walk..but like all malaysians we drove. coz plenty of shopping to be done..hehehe... the hotel was pretty quiet. which waz good.. the bkfast average but filling, so datz okey too. would stay there again no doubt..since the rate is okey... of course if even murah.. even better..hahaha.. rented a car at the airport... and guess what... a wira auto for only rm50 a day! even our petrol for those 3 days... costs us RM30 at most! Great.. but the makan at the Fisherman's pond was mahal for two it costs us RM80... so no more at this place next time.. does not taste good anyway.. maybe also i was not feeling well...but my son wallops all my share.. shopping was heavenly... spent most at Idaman Suri..their new outlet also nearby where we stay... 3 days in LGK.. u would never get lost.. the road signs are helpful.. I think the pusat budaya complex is a waste... it looks ominous from outside and quiet.. we dont dare venture in.. afraid the pricing would be costly...anyway been there 5years ago.. so tidak kempunan lah...and the pasir hitam place..the beach is dirty! felt ashamed as malaysian.. if foreigners visited it...what would they say... maybe you guyz can point out to the local authorities there to do something about it.. mahsuri complex is slowly transforming better...but the merchandize is nothing speciall.. recommend they sell something out of the ordinary...local made..

shajahan | | Good location , near Kuah town , easy for duty free stufs shopping and easy to get around places. Had requested single room and was given 2 rooms, excellent. The rooms are spacious. Suggest to place a map to make life easier to get there. House keeping service was super fast , well done.
