Stayed there for 2 nights. The room is spacious and I got the view over the airport runways as I requested earlier. On the first night, there was no hot water in the bathroom thus we have to bathe in cold water. It was not a pleasant experience. After I made the complaint, only on the second day, there was hot water in the bathroom. The breakfast is not worth the money paid. There were very few choices. There are only fried mee or kueyteow, porridge, cornflakes, juice, bread, crossant and omelettes. I would like to see more choices. The restaurant's morning staffs are not friendly and they look sleepy all the time compared to the night staffs. The staffs working the in the reception were very friendly and were always smiling compared to the staffs in the restaurant area. Overall, I would come back to stay again.

Saya baru je checkout dari hotel semalam(18/1/2010) setelah 5 hari 4 malam tinggal dihotel helang ni..tarikh checkin 14/1/2010. Memang bestlah hotel ni sebab lokasi dia tengah-tengah antara pantai chenang,cable car dan kuah.memang puas hatilah..akan datang lagi di hotel ni jika ada kesempatan nanti..keep up the good work

I JUST CHECK OUT THIS MORNING, THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT, THE ROOM IS BIG...THIS IS MY FIRST TIME USING CUTI VOUCHER SO FAR I'M IMPRESS.THIS WAS THE FASTEST CHECK -IN I EVER BEEN.CONCRATULATION CUTI TEAM. Overall we are happy with the spacious room but the management should seriously look into the service. The staff hardly smile both in front desk and restaurant. The breakfast can still be improved. The swimming pool is dirty. The room should be carpeted like the lobby.

i work at langkawi as a travel guide after spm for 1 year before futher my studies...as i recall hotel helang was affordable for budget traveller and just beside the airport no need to take a cab,you can just walk. i recommand for traveller to come for LIMA and stay here coz the air show just behine the hotel.nice,value for money.

Was pleasantly surprised how big the queen size room was. The bathroom was so huge! The floor and furniture are all in great shape. AC is working great and equipments like kettle, hair blower and iron are welcomed. I think swimming pool was alright too. The only possible complain perhaps is the breakfast was not so great, very mediocre.

I stayed here with my family (hubby, 2 kids and my mom) for 3 nights. Room is spacious. I rent an extra bed (RM40) and the extra bed is so comfortable (not the folding bed). Hotel is so peacefull eventhough next to airport. I will definately stay here again.

Last month Feb'09 my family go to Langkawi and stay this hotel. I really feel the price is worth to stay. Their service is good, food nice (especially mee mamak), room big and clean. Location also good, near attraction place, and no need scare lost because near airport. I very like their swimming pool, relax. If I next time go to Langkawi again, my first choice must be this hotel.
