2011-02-06 21:19:47   stitch   I stayed at Eagle Bay hotel for 2D 1N and 3D 2N at Langkawi Baron hotel. Langkawi Baron's room and service are better than Eagle Bay hotel, even though Eagle Bay is more expensive than Langkawi Baron. The room condition is not very good. The towels were dirty. I asked 2 times for other towels, 1st at the reception and 2nd time thru phone, but they do not replace the towels.

2010-06-17 09:46:17   hayuri76   We stay for 3 days and 2 night. 2 adult and 3 kids. 1. Reception - Not Friendly 2. Room - Bit Smelly 3. House Keeping - Not Enough Staff?? They do not make-up our room and change towel & bed sheets 4. Bath Room - Not soap and shampoo added. 5. Bath tab - cannot use Conclusion: 95% of bad review available are correct until the period of of stay. Suggestion: A lot of thing to be improve. Lack of staff is just unacceptable as a reason. 2010-02-17 09:53:43   preetaamsuj   We stayed the for 3day 2 nights.I'm sorry to say, this is the worst hotel i ever stayed!!! The aircond was not cold. Toilet was leaking. Preasure hose was leaking, they dont even have holder for it. Bath tub cannot be used, it seems it will leek through out the whole builiding. The cleaniness of the room is not acceptable at all. The bedsheet!!!they used old curtains to cover. You should see their, curtain of the window panel..so dirty. The floor was not carpeted. The worst thing was their house keeping, the didn't clean the bed and room properly and to my suprise,they did not clean the extra mattress at all. The bathroom was so smelly and dirty, they did not bother to clean at all. I will never go to that hotel again. Date of stay: 2010 Feb

2009-02-03 22:12:25   wkldanny   Things that dissatisfactory; - Limitation space for parking, enough space for 20 cars. You have to make sure you are good driver for you to park in their basement carpark. Can't hang out long at night, cause you will find no space for you to park your car, otherwise you have to park at the road side. - Room not as shown in pictures in the website. Like cheated deal. Product not as offered. - Room like no air-cond, have to switch on ceilling fan. - Sign of leakage on the ceilling, no maintenance. - Not much variety of food for the breakfast. 2007-11-14 11:26:32   wsyong   just got back from the langkawi the hotel food buffet hasnt got much choice not an international buffet not walking distance to anywhere nearby for food outside the hotel bathtub got no stopper. location wise not walking distant to anywhere surrounding. Our breakfast are not meant to be international 5 star buffet line, the price you paid for and the hotel rating should have been a good indication to you. As for the hotel location, 200 metres (10 minutes walk) to our left is the Langkawi Fair Shopping Centre where cold storage, international chain retail outlets, eating outlets as well as goods of better quality are sold. Another 100 metre further is the Langkawi Jetty Point Shopping Complex where more internation chain outlets are located. 500 metres (15 minutes walk) to our right is the Kuah Town where banks and everything are located. Since the hotel is located on the main road, it is easy to get taxis IF the 10-15 minutes (walk) / 2-5 minutes (car) is not near enough. Most of the time, the taxi drivers will be honing passersby to check whether they need a lift to the shops and it only cost RM 1-2 per person. We hope the above reply to your comments. The hotel staffs is very helpful and willing to accommodate. The bad: The shower drain was unclean, bad water pressure in shower, towels smell bad and wireless Internet wasn't available. Needs more content or variety on breakfast. Think large number of foreign tourists who check in to the hotel as well. Remember, more variety you have, the more interesting breakfast will be. Overall, the hotel was just so-so. We truly apologise for the uncleanliness of the shower drain and the laundry. It was Raya season, the laundry company which washes our laundry must have done a fast job, hotels in Langkawi generally have not much choice as there are only few launderette to send to. Nevertheless, we will lodge a complaint with them. As for the water pressure, it is usually very powerful which has even caused some bidets to leak. If the water pressure was bad during your stay, it is most likely that the Taliwork was working on the pipe and they close our main or it could be the Indah Water fixing underground tank in our neighbours lately. We apologise for the inconvenience on their behalf. We advertised our hotel to have internet facility but never wireless internet (kindly refer to hotel info page). Once again, we thank you for your comments and we look forward to welcoming you to our hotel in the near future. Breakfast consists of 9 items and the variety of the 4 main dish changes every day. The hotel can only serve breakfast according to the price paid. Cost of food is extremely high in Langkawi as all food are imported from mainland. Numerous times of price hike on the basic necessity have caused the food suppliers to pass the high cost to hotel. Therefore to make ends meet, many hotels have to adjust the buffet line to the value paid by the room guests. We hope the above explains our situation in Langkawi. 2007-09-26 00:12:11   addy24   i was stay on 15 april 2007 ...i like the decor in and out of the hotel.but u all should do something with the toilet floor is not practical to used tha kind of floor is always wet geli la.and the room in the web site not same when u check in.and last thing must have more variaty on bf. The toilet floor is made of pebble wash rather than tiles for safety reason as it is non-slip. We apologise if the toilet was wet as the hotel was most likely to be full and the rooms were used back-to-back. You may have checked in straight after our housekeeping staffs had cleaned it. Breakfast consists of 9 items and the variety of the 4 main dish changes every day. The hotel can only serve breakfast according to the value of the room rates. Cost of food is extremely high in Langkawi as all food are imported from mainland. Numerous times of price hike on the basic necessity have caused the food suppliers to pass the high cost to hotel.
