Everything ok and satisfy with the room and services. Breakfast a lot of choice. Swimming pool at the hotel ok but only have to wear swimming suit or only wear white t-shirt. Many of customers don't have white t-shirt. This is very difficult for the customers.

Everything was okay & satisfactory at the hotel. Not until on the second day when we went to the Marina Theme Park (just next door). We were shock with the discovery of a DEAD MOUSE in the kid's pool! We had a tough time with the staff there to get back the refund. Anyway, we were back at the hotel's pool to avoid the kid's disappointment.

This is our third stay in Marina Cove. Our first stay - full of excited. Our second stay full of enjoyness and the third stay full of happiness. Unlike our two stay before, this time the hotel are guiet and sleepy. We don't need to rushing. The car park empty most of time. We can take our breakfast in peace. However, there are some slack here and there. We check-in at hotel on 2 but have to wait until 3 to proceed to our room. The room are spacious with 2 single bed, but not appropriate for my family members. This mean 2 of us will sleep on bed while others sleep on floor. The slack is that there are no extra pillow, no hanger, no foot towel. The room also not so clean - dust and hair everywhere - we got sneezing due to elergy on dust. The food? just OK like normal Malaysian morning taste, not much variety, no fresh juice. We don't expect any extra treat with little RM we spend. Overall - the hotel, the location and the money we spend there are reasonable and affordable price.

Check in on 27/06/09.
Apartment 2 Rooms-RM288 ( Saturday)
We very unhappy with their services-
1. Food- The food just so so and we very felt uncomfortable to having our breakfast next to the toilet when a big group of BTN training Occupied the dining hall.
2. Lift- On 28/06/09 only 1 lift can be used.
3. Should improve thier services to handle big group (Training).

I stayed one night in superior room and overall everything's ok only that we're not provided a bath towel in the room, only a face towel I can say...I brought along two kids and they really enjoyed the kids' pool.

the hotel is quite ok. the rate is reasonable. i stayed at a 3 room apt but was quite dissapointed coz the view were not nice. i was told by the hotel that there are no 3 room apt with sea or waterpark view. dunno whether it's true or not. but overall, room is big, nice and clean.
the breakfast is ok for a 3star hotel. lots of variety. as far as i know, there is no beach at this hotel. the nearest is teluk batik public beach but it is not at few walking distance.
one more thing, u have to pay to enter the waterpark. got special discount for hotel guest.

Stop over a night on 31 May 08.
Front desk was really busy but they are trying to attend to my complain when intercom fail from my room.
One front desk staff was very friendly and other was a OK. Not bad for a good impression.
The water park was just next to this hotel, kind like a small Bkt Merah. Seeing lagoon and beach front was nice.
I was there during school holiday and as usual it was a full house . No problem checking earlier at about 1pm may be is that I had called to make sure everything is ready a day before.
At time of checking out,It was a long waiting list for the 9th floor to the lobby. other than that every thing was a OK!
Buffer breakfast serve many type of food which is consider OK.
It is about 10 min drive to Lumut town, location wise was OK too not too far away from Lumut.
Going back there-may be & got to make sure it is not on super peak season.
The room was OK but without capet. The floor would be better and environment would be improve significantly if capet flooring being provided.
Cabinet is a bit run down.
Room size was quite big and it is a plus point to this hotel.

Check in for 3 days 2 nights in the hotel... at first I feel worried to check in into this hotel. coz. base on the feed back.. when i check in all the comment is totally diffrient with what I'm experiance..
The clealiness inside the room was good. Breakfast is quite good ( the rate is only RM128 inclusive breakfast), its consider good for 3 star hotel compare.. sri malaysia..
I'm quite surprise from the past comment.. I think your expectation is too damn high. come on guys/gurls.. you pay only few hundred buck.. you want the service like 5 star hotel, very lots of food, cool room emenities.. ? Huh, If you wanna service like 5 star, dont check in to 3 star hotel lorr.. go to Shangri-La, Go to Pan-pac, Go to Pangkor laut laaa.. even 5 star hotel also i have bad experiance......
For me.. it is still value for money.. there is swimming pool, there is water theme park, (i've seen already open half), have beach bistro somemore..
I have travel lots, and c/in into lots of hotels.. mostly all hotel have problems.. you dont expect 100% good service.. huh.. pay little but wanna more.. chiow...

The room had an awful smell of unwashed socks & the floor looked like it hadn't been swept after the previous occupant left, as there was hair & dirt everywhere.
The towels stink.
Windows panes were visibly smeared ALL OVER with greasy fingerprints - I am not exaggerating. How could the cleaners not see the obvious marks?
The cups were filthy. I ran my finger along the inside of the cups & got a thick layer of residue!
Electrical plug points were in awkward places. I had to push the cabinet out of the way to reach them.
Cupboard doors threatened to fall off as many of the hinges were loose/broken.
The kingsize bed looked OK at first until we discovered that instead of using a king-sized bedsheet, they used two SINGLE bedsheets, and it was very uncomfortable because they separated & bunched up in the middle of the night.
The 'theme park' is only half complete but already open to the public. From the outside it looks colourful & attractive but when you go near the pool looks as though it has never been cleaned! The water is dark & murky and the bottom has large patches of greenish stuff. Only one section of the pool is open. The other section is filled with construction debris & mud-covered plastic sheets.
Don't be misled by the picture! Be warned that this is NOT a beachfront hotel. There is no beach - it has been destroyed by construction works (a marina is supposedly being built) so instead of sand & waves you will be greeted with a mess of earthworks, muddy soil & stagnant water.
Extremely disappointed with this hotel. We checked out the very next day although we were supposed to stay longer.

Had high expectation but when we check in at 2pm & went in the apartment there were hair all over the place, cigaratte butt on the balcony, hair in toilets, toilet bowl not working, no aircond on the living room only bedrooms & worst of all the cups (4pcs) were very dirty with coffee stains, wish I could post the pictures i've taken to show u all. when we had breakfast there were flies in the sausages. there were no theme park like it says in the internet but at least my kids enjoy the pool. That would be my 1st & last & i don't recommend u guys to go there.

The place is OK. Most of the facilities are available as advertised except the beach, which was filled to make way for a water theme park which is still under construction.
I came for the beach and therefore the photo of the beach on the hotel info page is misleading.
Everything else was good. Breakfast buffet (when they have them) is ok. There was no buffet when occupancy was low (like on weekdays) but the set breakfast offered, while not very much is acceptable.
The pool did somewhat made up for the missing beach, but I find that the pool may be open to the public (There was this family that came in a car for two consecutive afternoons when I was there - There weren't so many people there, so you'd notice). But that's a small matter.
My wife used the spa there. Prices are reasonable. I suggest that resort management make arrangements to charge the services to the room as an alternative for guests.
Lumut is great and the reosrt is great. I'd consider coming back when they have the water theme park ready.

The apartment is very clean and cosy.
The breakfast was very good.
The pool is big enough and a section is specially for kids.
The lagoon pool was still under constrction.
Its only a short distance to Setiawan for very cheap seafood
