I stay at Corus Hotel for 3 days 2 night. It is great. Our room is located near the swimming pool.... its easy acess through the verendah. With swimming pool & KLCC view. Its really great.
The Breakfast was great. Variety choice of food for the only additional charges of RM15 per person(for corporate rate). Its worth it.
Only, their staff, lack of smile at guest.

Being a frequent traveller to KL,my norm is ALWAYS to ensure hotel star ratings plays a BIG ROLE in my decision making on room reservation.I will ALWAYS make it a point to stay at hotels which are 4stars &above.Due to change in holiday plan,we have to end-up making a room reservation with Corus as ALL of our preferred hotels are fully booked.
It was my family 1st time staying at corus..After having to stay in Corus Hotel,Frankly speaking,Corus DO NOT DESERVE 4stars rating reason being:-
1) Frontdesk staff are TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL when handling their customers. When i enquired on bed type&non-smoking floor preference, what i got was a shocking response frm staf ie "tsskk" plus an eye rolling expression!!! Truely unacceptable! While anothr male staff was busy grumbling "openly" about their "busy schedule & rooms which are not ready for guests to check-in"! Is this the kind of behaviour that Corus can be proud of?On my 2nd day, approach the front desk again& encountered the same experience.Gave me the impression that ALL the staff there ARE FORCED to work&there isn't any passion towards Customer Service.
2) After checking-into my "undesired room",i was highly dissappointed with the room quality. It seems to reflect an image of a "run down environment" which does not spell out the "4star image"....A very FAR CRY frm it!!!
3)On my 1st nite,i called up Housekeeping to request for extra pillow & was "advised" by the male staff to check inside the luggage drawer,on which i told him that there isn't any pillows there. He said ok&i waited but after30mins of waiting,i called them again & a lady staff said"Housekeeping is already close&this is reception counter.Did u press the right extension??(how stupid of her to ask me,isnt it?Of course i know which ext to dial!) She said that i shld check the drawers again"! 3rd time, the male staff reiterate to me that i shld be able to find the pillows in my room.By then,i was too tired to argue wif them further.Without further delay,i called other hotels, trying DESPERATELY to make room reservation with for the next day but no rooms was available & i was left with no choice but to stay put at Corus.
And for the VERY FIRST TIME in my life,i have to use a plastic bag which is stuffed with my clothings,as my pillow!
WAKE-UP CORUS!!! U guys don't deserve to be rated as 4stars!
4)Breakfast spread totally SUCKS! Food was tasteless!Even my 3 years & 6year s old kids refuse to eat!
Overall, should STAY AWAY from spending your night in Corus hotel. There are better hotels around that area if you should wish to stay around KLCC.
