Not bad and the best thing for me who always depends on any latest information on-the-go is they have a free internet access. Unlike other well known hotel which imposed a fee to use their internet service, this hotel is not and its free. Location is so strategic and it is just a walking distance to some of 'must see' places including water-front, bazaar lane and etc. Everything is good and decent for me plus it suits my budget as well. The not-so-good thing is it is quite noisy with traffics outside of the hotel. Occasionally disturbed at midnight due to some noise from the road. Though it is easily understood since this hotel located in the 'golden triangle' of Kuching. Anyway, overall is good and I'll look forward to stay in this hotel for my future trip to Kuching.

Ok lah for budget hotel...value for money. If you are looking a place just to sleep then, this is the hotel. Basic hotel actually. I am staying few times here. The breakfast....hmmm....I know the menu - Today -Fried Mee & Fried Rice. Tomorrow - Fried Meehon & Nasi Lemak. Tomorrow after Tomorrow - Fried Mee & Nasi Lemak...hehehehe...they just change the menu just like that...but it is ok for me...the staff is so friendly...and I found one of ex-staff of Hotel Crowne Plaza here (we know each other because I always stay in Crowne Plaza too)...hehehe...

Hotel is OK. It's right in front of the Waterfront and souvenirs can be bought just across the road. Carpark is very limited, but can always park outside (don't forget to get your coupon from the green coupon booth). Cyber cafe and cinema are also right across the road. Can also walk to Sarawak Plaza. The breakfast is OK.

Not what i expected after all these good review. Good location, room average, bed in front of the bath room, air-cond temparature vary according to the weather outside - hot in day time & cold at night.
Breakfast RM 10 per person, consider value for money based on what we paid & they will replenish food whenever the food tray is empty. Just that the restaurant is too small & always not enough seats.

Overall the hotel was good and worth for money. Stayed in Deluxe Room, quite big and with standard facilities i.e. mini fridge, bath tub. the best thing is, the hotel provides wireless broadband and can be accessed from the room.
The only things is, the F&B staff was not that friendly, no morning greeting from the staff when entering the cafe for breakfast.

The hotel is really value for the money. The front desk staff very helpfull in getting us connecting room. The room is clean, and lovely. The bath room is really clean. You have to bear the crowd, since this is one of the favorite hotel in KCH. The hotel has opened up another hall for breakfast, and we have more privacy with our family. We'll stay in this hotel if we go to to KCH again.

Close to the main bazaar shopping, sights and some of the best eating establishments, this newer hotel has top-end comfort for a mid-range price. The large bright rooms and views along the Sungai Sarawak and across to Fort Margherita make it one of the best places to stay in Kuching.

Pro: In town and near lots of interesting places. Staff friendly. Clean room. Good food. Value for money.
Con: Too crowded (maybe it was school holiday). Traffic noise level very high, even at night (stayed in the 5th floor).

we came early and they allowed us to check in early. Front office 'tak sombong' & efficient service. B'fast is value for money. Best location in town in terms of shopping ( so near main bazaar). Room is clean. The +(ve) far outweights the -(ve). A real value for my money.

The hotel location is very good, room is ok but the water was smelly, housekeeping service is good but reception counter service is only average. I don't like the bell boys who stand at entrance because they don't greet guests or open doors for guest which other hotels practise better. Anyway on my check out day, I saw all the hotel staffs including the bell boys were suddenly very helpful and smile a lot, greet guests everywhere, I think probably there are hotel higher management staffs rounding and watching.

Keadaan hotel pun selesa. Berdekatan dgn waterfront, panggung wayang dan kedai souvenirs. Cuma satu je, di harap pihak hotel dapat memperbesarkan lagi ruang restoran kerana saya dapati ia sangat sesak terutama di waktu sarapan pagi. Anyway, I memang rekomen hotel ini.. cuba lah.

My trip to Sarawak (in 2002) started quite badly when arriving at the hotel with my group only to find that booking was one room short and the hotel was full (probably the travel agent's fault). The hotel quickly saved my holiday somewhat. While we had to stay 5 people in one of the room, I find that the hotel was quite accomodative. A very big plus point for the breakfast spread, comparable if not better to one of the 4 star hotels in KL that I frequent on business. Very recommended.
