Frankly speaking I have stay so many times in this hotel, until I know their front staff! Before, the service is worst! One day, they gave me broken iron (broken heating control), and my shirt almost burnt. I asked them to do ironing for me because no more iron available and they want to charge me for that...i remember I told them "if you wanna charge me RM30 for one piece ironing, I will charge you the price of my shirt, RM89.90 because its almost burnt because your broken iron!!". Another day, I come back to this hotel. I am asking for iron but they told me no more iron available. Then they suggest to me to do ironing at their laundry. I just give it and again, they charge me sum money!!! I told them why charge me if you can't provide the service to me? And why should I pay for free service? After that I won again! hehehehe...but after few times staying here, we know each other and no more problem again. They also improve their services. Room is basic actually. I really do not like when they give me a room facing Balai Polis (Police Station)..where you can see 'makcik berkemban' drying cloth....hehehehe...I know few stories about this hotel especially room with 'X15' number....yes any room with 15 at the end...always avoid this room.....wanna know the stories? Ask their staff!!!

I stayed at your hotel on Jan 16 till the 20 2005. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with the service. The little things really counted when the front office manger and staff went out of their way to accommodate me when I wanted to use the broadband internet. With the hotel so centrally located, it was very easy for me to access round town.
I extend my compliments to the management and staff for their warmth and hospitality and made my stay most memorable. Keep up the good work. I live in Rome, Italy and I have recommended to my Italian friends to stay at your hotel during their visit to Sandakan, I know I will on my next visit.
