2012-11-21 15:47:59   fieshioda   Our 1st stay in their resort room is totally worst. Really disappointed with their accommodation, facilities. Regarding the towel. YES! No towel in the room and need to call for more than 2 times to get it. Our room little bit smelly. Requested to change room but still disappointed when service said no room at all means it fully booked. So we accepted it as it is our 2 days and 1 night stay only. I just can say the resort room especially is not really good place to stay in. Now i read over some people mostly complaint badly about their villa. Huhu Hopefully our villa we decide for holiday this December could be OK. Already planned to bring the whole big family try to stayed in their villa as some of my friends being there told the villa is most comfortable and cleaned. Planning want to book on Standard 4 Bedroom Villa loading with my huge family members. I hope that management of this resort would do something to the villa and the pool seems my daughter and her cousins very excited to the pool.Sometimes i feel curiosity whether all these comments reported to the high level management to take the actions. I am hoping they will take this as a serious complaints from the ex and ex- wannabe customer if they want their resort to be at least among high rated resort in Malaysia or they just didn't care about it at all. 2012-03-29 10:11:34   razali.maryam   My whole family stayed at a villa with a private pool on one of school holidays. Plus point: The villa was spacious and clean but the toilet needs a bit of maintenance. A lot of activities available especially for kids to enjoy including the water park, carnival and animal safari. We truly enjoyed the water park and the animal safari with the bird and wild wild west show. Very entertaining but the actors need to improve on their command of english during the performance if they want all the mat sallehs to understand what they say. Negative points: Our villa came with a private pool.. well.. I would say it was a POND rather than a pool. It was dirty and filled with leaves. There was even a frog there. We informed the maintenance requesting for the pool to be cleaned, unfortunately they put the blame on us, asking why we did not inform them earlier! I thought that they would have known that the villa will be occupied, thus they should have come and ensure the place is okay before we checked in, right?! On top of that, the whole "VILLA' are appeared badly maintained and deserted, which is sad as the place has a lot of potential. I guess people don't mind paying extra if the resort is upgraded. (grand lexus for example, very nice resort, expensive though but ppl still come to enjoy their private pool) I read bad reviews on their breakfast, thus we didnt even bother to go and instead bought packed nasi lemak sold outside of the resort. Carnival is overpriced! I hate one of the performance where they had an oversized lady in an oversized boop walking around, showcasing their 'asset'. It was annoying and sexist i would say and not suitable for kids either! All in all, we enjoyed our stay there but I'm hoping for an upgrade and a better maintainance! Date of stay: 2012 Mar

2011-11-04 17:02:10   peilee_80   I went to A Fomasa Resort with all my family members including my in-laws. We stayed in Villa unit with a private 'swimming pool'. The swiiming pool is very very dirty. It was full of leaves and tree branches. If I did not know there is a provate swimming pool, I will think that it was rubbish dump. We waited for two and an half hour to check in ourselves (around 5.30pm). Finally, we got our room after complaining the front office. When we went to our villa, then only found out that there was no electricity at all in the villa. Try to call to the maintainance dept, but no one answer call for half an hour. The villa was super dirty, the floor full of dust and sand (until we have to wear our shoes into the villa. The air-cond was leaking until the half of the living room was flooded. The breakfast were worst and everyone is like in jail (queue up and collect the food). All the park, such as water park, as a in-house guest, we still need to pay for the parking. Then, what is the benefit of a in-house guest for? Nothing!!! We paid RM 900++ for this (so called VILLA). Anyone please tell me, is that worth it to pay almost RM1000 to get this kind of services and stays??? Now, I always will advise everyone, NOT to stay in this resort!!!! Date of stay: 2009 May

Carnival Show, Waterworld, Animal Safari, 1 Dinner, 2 breakfast..Really enjoy the dinner and breakfast..it was great...Please guys check out wat package u are taking cause different package, different kind of dinner and breakfast is served... The waterworld and animal safari was great, my children really enjoyed it. The carnival should be improved, a bit boring..And yes, make sure you travel by car..A bit difficult to move around at A Famosa..The food at waterworld and animal safari is really really expensive...RM12.90 for nasi lemak. For 6 ppl it comes to RM77.90...Please reduced the price of food. The customer services please please smile.. Date of stay: Jun

RM12, they provide you meehoon, nasilemak, rubbish egg, one sausage that cut into few pieces... worst food and poor customer service. need to improve on this. i stay at Condo D' Sovy (if not mistaken on the condo name). is a studio family, not bad but the aircond not cold enough. the room has to touch up a bit and must tighten on the swimming pool rules & regulation e.g. only swim suit is allow to swim... i saw a lot of ppl are not wearing swim suit and swim there which is not hygience at all... 2010-12-09 20:41:42   beckynica   i just came back from a night stay at D'Savoy Condotel.my 1st impression was...pathetic,as the buildings look old and dirty.but it turned out to b not so bad as i thought.i stayed in a 2 rooms unit and i like it as the unit is spacious.it was clean and the furnitures were in good condition.overall, a stay there was value-for money.however, i wasn't happy with the service and staffs.they were not friendly and courteous enough.they didn't even greet or welcomed me when i went to the counter for check in.i think they are poor in terms of service.i think they should send their staffs for training and reminded them to smile and greet their customers. 2010-06-21 12:59:40   sabsha79   3 Days / 2 Nights stay at Condo D-Savoy (is that correct? - the spelling). Was expecting a better room but all fully occupied!! room service quite poor. The room looks old.. However, overall it was very very tiring but FUN!!! Especially for the kids. They had 5 hours at the water world (among the earliest entered but among the latest left the pool) :p The day after, enjoyed animal safari ride..the most important thing is my kids had a happy time there. Stayed in a spacious Condotel for 2D 1N, air-cond, heater and fridge in good condition but the floor is a little dirty. We took the RM318 package inclusive of Animal World Safari & Cowboy Town. We did not try the food here because of all the negative feedback, so we had stand-by some cakes,bread, snack and drinks in cooler box. For Lunch & Dinner we went to Tampin town which is around 6-7 km and about 7 mins drive. The food here is even cheaper in KL. Lucky we met a good samaritans which introduce a few good restaurants to us. Animal world safari is ok but because we were there in the afternoon and hot, all animals seems to be half dead, even most is sleeping. Cowboy town in the night was wonderful. Please note that this place need transport, so please drive. Is an exciting trip for my family. We might visit here again, our kids amazed! Date of stay: 2009 Sep

Each ticket cost RM20 for both Adult and Child. Everything is expensive. 1 piece of watermelon cost RM2, 1 piece of fishball (small one) cost RM1, 1 cup of milo cost RM5... Date of stay: 2009 Dec

I stay at A-famosa resort... given room whish diff from request and reply from hotel was terribly dispointted. no towel in the room have to cal for more than 2 times to get the it. no stopper in bath tap, call 3times but no respond have to go CS. 2009-07-13 14:09:37   moxshax   Overall is ok. The room was clean and parking was available. Visited both Animal World & Cowboy Town and found it quite interesting. Only problem with his place is the cost of food. 1 can drink cost RM3.50 and 1 small bottle of mineral water costs RM3.00. Food are very costly. In the end, we decided to have lunch/dinner at the nearby alor gajah town [ 10 mins drive ]. Other than that, it's a nice place to kill a weekend. Date of stay: 2009 Jul

2009-06-02 15:17:04   nadya_yasmeen   My family n I had a wonderful stay at A' Famosa Resort. We stayed in a 3rooms condo which was spacious and comfortable enough for our 6 family members. Even though the check in time is quite late at 4pm, we took the spare time since we reached there early, to explore Animal World Safari first. The weather was quite hot but we barely couldn't be bothered by the hot weather while watching the shows at the safari. My favourites were the bird show and wild wild west show. There were also animal riding with a cheap fee, suitable for children actually. The truck ride into the safari was also interesting where u get to be inside a caged truck and the wild animals are outside just a few meters far from the truck. We then checked in to our condo & were very glad because we got the one facing the golf course. The scenery was so peaceful and we can even saw the sun set from our balcony. The show at cowboy town was also interesting. Not all the time we could actually see a chicken run along the street. The red indian show, the cowboys with guns & horses have really made the show really fascinating. The show ended with a splendid firework display. Generally, i really think that the ticket for the carnival is worth paying. It was really an unforgettable experience there. the next day, we didn't go to water world but we did visited the recreation centre where they have go-kart, horse riding, archery and etc. for those who love adventurous activities, the recreation centre would definitely be suitable for them. as for locationwise, the resort is a nice place to chill up since it is surrounded by a golf course and also it is located on a countryside. it was indeniable that the surroundings itself can give a serene & blissful feeling to the visitors. i am planning to come back again to this resort but this time it will only be me and my girl friends. I stay at condo.. the safety box cannot use... the parking garage got a lot of scrap furniture... breakfast sucks... during check in,there's 1 uncle scold the the customer service bcoz they really slow doing their job..haha to enter waterpark must pay package with lunch set even I dont want the lunch set, and they only give 3 choice of lunch set (the taste not good).. theres alot of thing I feel really disappointed.. Need to wait the housekeeping to clean up. After went in, need towels to bath kids and floor mats, not provided until about 8pm. Very lousy breakfast which only nasi lemak, porridge and bread. No juice but only tea or coffee or plain water. Fruit only one type. Swim ming pool at another block, very in-convenient. The food at safari SUPER EXPENSIVE, RM 12 per pack of chicken rice. Very trouble to get in to the safari even tickets been paid through online booking, need to que for very long time where buy on the spot is more faster. Entrance fees super expensive where not worth it especially the cowboy town, not including any ride and activities not suitable for young children and senior citizen. Date of stay: 2008 Dec

2008-12-21 14:59:04   Rosenita   I read a lot of bad review abt the resort but I experience otherwise. The condotel is big enough for 3 adults and 3 kids. My request for service was acted promptly and check in ony took less than 10 minutes. However the entrance fee is quite high. Spend RM600-00 for entrance fee alone for 3 adults and 2 kids for cowboy town, animal world and water world (since my youngest is less than the doll figure). The food is also quite expensive and hope that it can be reduce to acceptable price in future. The pool however is quite dirty, full of leaves and small insects. Minor restoration shall enhance the quality of the resort. Date of stay: 2008 Dec
