Location Map
The island of Pulau Lang Tengah is located about 20 km offshore from Kuala Terengganu and 10 km west of Pulau Redang. The island itself is a small island of about 47.7 acres in size.
The Management of this island comes under gazettes of Fisheries Protected Areas and the Fisheries Act 1985. It is established as a marine park under the Marine Parks Malaysia order 1994, which came into force on 15 Dec 1994.
The tropical climates of the island are influenced by the North East Monsoon. Daily temperatures are between 22 to 33 degrees.
Getting There
By Self Drive
Approximately 6 to 8 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Merang Jetty via Karak Highway, Lebuhraya Pantai Timur (LPT) and Terengganu coastal road. At Kuala Terengganu town, do take a road to Merang Jetty. Click here to view direction to Merang Jetty.

teamunity | | Gina I agree with u. Even my jungle treking was left out without any apology. But some of the resort friendly staffs esp the chinese boy and the indian cook really made-up for the hic-up. Food wise so-so only. Thanks Wati for the help u have rendered me. Also not forgetting Bai. See- You next year.

Gina | | Although the staffs there are very friendly, the services provided were not up to expectation. Schedule of snorkelling trips was not annouced clearly and resulted in waste of time and less time for the trip. Choices of food and dishes are very limited, I doubt whether it was a buffet. We also see a lot of time gap between activities. Suggested snorkelling sites were not really good as well. We hope to see improvement in the resort.

some said they saw black dolphin, but I only see sharks and sotong.
beach is not as good as Redang long beach but lang tengah is sure a nice place that worth for a visit. the island is small, you can walk round the whole island in the jungle trekking within just 1 - 2 hrs (we spent 1 hr to take photos in the middle way) | |

| asca | | My trip was superb (16/8-18/8).The staff there are very friendly and brought us for extra snokerlling.We went for 5 snokerlling trip! We saw turtles,lotsa baby sharks,sting ray,very big eel,jelly fish,star fish,squid,white sea cucumber and of cos many beautiful + colourful fishes.Last but not least we saw a very beautiful sunset in the evening and shooting stars at night.To all the staff in Square Point, Thanks for everything!! it's a very relaxing place (compare to Redang Island)
we visited the other 2 resorts on Lang Tengah Island in our jungle trekking trip
Someone saw black dolphin, turtle, but I have seen squid & shark in the evening snorkeling. those who have diving licence should go and dive or you'll feel regret.
