Chon Buri- Getting There

By Car
Chon Buri is about one-hour drive from Bangkok along Highway No. 34 (Bang Na-Trat). Alternatively, a faster trip can be made by taking the new Bangkok-Chon Buri elevated expressway, a total distance of 81 km.

By Rail
Trains to Chon Buri depart from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station only on weekdays once a day at 6.55 a.m. The journey takes around two and a half hours.

By Bus
The one-and-a-half-hour journey from Bangkok can be made on regular buses originating from Bangkok’s Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai). Air-conditioned buses depart Ekamai every 40 minutes from 5.30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Tel: 0 2391 2504. There are also air-conditioned buses departing Bangkok Bus Terminal on Kamphaeng
Phet II Road every hour from 5.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
