• Army Museum of Singapore
The Army Museum of Singapore (ARMS) was officially opened by Prime Minister on 27 Sep 2007. ARMS will present the story of our Army, chronicling its development from its formative years to the present.
Opening Hours: 10am - 6pm (Tuesdays – Sundays). Closed on Mondays
Getting There: By Car/Taxi: A quick 30-minute drive from the city, the PIE and turn off at exit no. 40 or AYE exit no. 20.

• Art Retreat Museum
Founded by Indonesian collector Kwee Swie Teng in 2003, Art Retreat is Singapore’s first private museum with a collection of modern Asian and European art. It is dedicated to the appreciation and collecting of art through exhibition, education and research.
Opening Hours: 11 am to 6pm daily. Closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.

• Asian Civilisations Museum
As its name suggests, the Asian Civilisations Museum focuses on the heritage of Asian cultures. The first wing (ACM I), located at Armenian Street, is a meticulously restored neo-classical building dating back to 1910.
Opening Hours : Mon 1pm to 7pm; Tue to Sun 9am to 7pm; late night opening on Friday, free admission from 6pm to 9pm.

• Changi Chapel & Museum
A beacon of hope for the hopeless. The Changi Chapel, housed within the open-air courtyard of the Museum, is a symbolic replica of the many chapels built during the Japanese Occupation.
Open: 9.30am to 4.30pm (daily unless otherwise advised).

• Chinatown Heritage Centre
Life of the ethnic Chinese in early Singapore was simple and almost everyone lived in rented cubicles of shophouses, which were often overcrowded and disease-stricken.
Open: 9am - 8pm (Mon-Thu), 9am - 9pm (Fri-Sun). Last Admission is one hour before closure.

• Chinese Heritage Centre
The Chinese Heritage Centre (CHC) was founded in 1995 to advance knowledge and understanding of the Chinese Overseas communities in different parts of the world.
Open: 9.30am to 5pm (Mon - Fri), 10am to 5pm (Sat and Sun). Closed on Public Holidays
Getting There:
- By MRT: The nearest MRT station is Boon Lay (EW27). You have to take a bus from Boon Lay Interchange.
- By Bus: 179 (Alight after the Innovation Centre).

• Civil Defence Heritage Gallery
The Civil Defence Heritage Gallery traces fire fighting and civil defence developments in Singapore from the late 1800s till today. Located within the Central Fire Station, it showcases the proud history of the Singapore Civil Defence Force and aims to heighten public awareness on civil defence.

• Hua Song Museum
Hua Song, meaning "In praise of the Chinese Community", is a museum that brings to life the rich heritage that overseas Chinese around the world share.

• Images of Singapore
Step back into 14th century Singapore with a little help from the 21st century! At this museum, life-size figures, rare artefacts and state-of-the-art technology bring the sights, sounds and smells of bygone Singapore to life.
Open: 9am - 7pm daily (last entry at 6.30pm).

There is no site more appropriate for the Malay Heritage Centre than the Istana Kampong Glam – previous home of Malay royalty.

• MINT Museum of Toys
MINT (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys), the world's first purpose-built museum for toys, opened in Singapore in May 2006.

• Nei Xue Tang
Buddhism is one of the religious pillars of the East. Nei Xue Tang’s priceless collection of Buddhist art works pays tribute to devotees, with Buddhist artifacts, relics, antiquities and art pieces gathered from Japan and Gandhara to China and Indonesia.

• NUS Museums
At the Western end of Singapore lies a jewel of artworks and cultural artifacts. The NUS Museums at the National University of Singapore house a treasure trove of Asian art pieces.

• Royal Selangor Pewter Museum

• Singapore Mint Coin Gallery
Love makes the world go round... or is it money? The Singapore Mint Coin Gallery houses an impressive collection of coins, medals and medallions from all over the world.
